It was essentially a 20 minutes scoring slump. I mean what was their score at half? Like 12? 14?

Whoa, turns out it was longer than I thought:

USF went almost 11 minutes without scoring any point in that first half

and to complicate it even more, my kid is at UT. While Im not what most would call a UT Fan, I am pulling for them 100% except when they play Florida, or a rare MSU game.

Eh you're a dad. Mine's adopted Indiana as a more or less 3rd team now that my sister's in school there. It's all understandable :good!:

Totally get it now though.

Due to his growing up and where he went to college, my dad has a very similar split, though his is with regards to Tennessee and Texas.
