Well there you go. In some ways, you almost would rather have a great O and mediocre D versus a mediocre O and a great D.

Nebraska just doesn't have a great QB.

This is making me wonder if Rhule is going to be a failure or not. I am thinking he is going to be a failure right now just based off this move. He should have taken Sims out right now.

They held onto Scott Frost way too long so they went through 3-4 straight seasons of not making a bowl game. Tennessee was never that bad.

Another issue with Nebraska is that they are in a poor recruiting area and a very poor division/conference. B1G is a decent conference but all its firepower (and attention) is in the B1G East while the West is an after thought most years.
We were that bad from 2011-2013.

Nebraska has always been in a poor recruiting area. The biggest issue with them right now, I think, is the poor conference fit.

Not really for a couple of reasons.

1. We won more than 4 games
2. We played a far tougher schedule

Nebraska is a little more embarrassing because besides their cross-over games and sometimes Iowa and Wisconsin, their schedule is, for the most part, full of UK and Vandys.

Coach Prime knows what he’s doing.
Nebraska not having a QB is making him look a lot smarter than he is right now though. Colorado is probably down a score if Nebraska has a replacement-level QB who can successfully complete shotgun handoffs.
