I started getting sick on Wednesday with a sore throat. Had fever and chills yesterday. Back to just minor sore throat today. I questioned going to get tested, but I've been at home since our return on Sunday and just waiting this out. Common cold vs. Covid, no idea.

I'd get tested just to be sure, but that's just me. Besides, getting a swab from your nostril through your brain is a life experience everyone should have.

They do a quick response one now. Just swirl a q tip around in your nostrils. At least that’s what they did to me at my primary care physicians a couple of weeks ago.

From what I’ve read those aren’t as accurate and are as used as safety precautions? I think the full dive is still the primary method for symptomatic people. But who knows

Unfortunately, her dad passed away yesterday afternoon before they had a chance to remove him from life support. They tried to revive him so the family could say their final goodbyes as planned, but were unsuccessful.

She's doing better today, but prayers are still welcomed.

Get the test just to know. If yes you don't go out and spread it and no you have the immunity. If no, it's a cold and you need to woman up!

It’s horrible, I have nothing anymore to say to the hurting that zoners are feeling now. It’s so overwhelming for all us. I just know G_d will wrap his comfort around all of us.

Please pray for my wife and her family. Her dad has been very ill for about a month with several health problems. The family decided this morning to remove him from life support tomorrow morning. She also lost her mom to cancer just a few years ago (only in her 50s), so any prayers you can spare would help greatly.

Thoughts and prayers sent.

Now the wife’s cousin who has brain/lung cancer has COVID. Prayers needed again, his mom also has it.

Seems like it has been something every day in our family.

Wife's Cousin: Still fighting COVID but actually doing better than his mother which is shocking since he's got lung/brain cancer. He's not had to be hospitalized so far thankfully.
Wife's Aunt: Still hospitalized and will be for a good while. Was improving a bit over the weekend but today her 02 levels are back down to around 85%, they want them around 92% so they are putting her on high flow 02.

My Daughter: Had to go back to the ER Saturday with same high pulse rate/trouble breathing. Finally found that she has a cyst on her thyroid. Said it's easily treatable but will likely wait until she gives birth.

Wife: Has carpal tunnel surgery next week.

I think that's everything at this point...lol...October has sucked so far!

I know and believe everyone will pray for her, and I also know GOD will hear them. I’ve not had any settling in my mind since hearing the diagnosis and going forward. It’s shook me. I probably won’t respond because I’ve got to do this my way. So, thank you all for throwing up a prayer for one tough old woman (and also for the old woman that aspires to be like her.)
