Needing prayers.

I just learned that my childhood home in Powell was lost in a house fire recently. My parents sold the farm when I was 18. That place was always special to me. I didn't know the family that purchased the property very well. It is safe to say that they need some prayers. I said a few myself this morning.

No, not her ex husband. It was Rocky’s daughter’s Ex. He wanted custody of their child together. Amanda had one of the most beautiful hearts. She asked me once for a list of residents that didn’t have families one time during Christmas. She raised money for them for gifts, threw a Christmas party for them and arranged for two hairdressers that we knew to give free haircuts and styles. One time she got wind of a person that walked to work because she didn’t have transportation. She raised money for a used car, her and Rocky gave it a new paint job and fixed it up at their shop. She was a beautiful person along with her boyfriend.

That sounds like the guy who shot my sister, and killed her boyfriend. He was dating my sister's boyfriends daughter, and shot her, her dad, and my sister, killing the dad. I'll never understand that kind of stuff. It's hard when it hits home, and I'm sorry they, and you, have to deal with it.

We are fine but my small community here in Indiana could use your prayers. F3 tornado hit here last night about 10 miles from our house. The small town of Sullivan was hit hard. Over 200 houses and businesses destroyed, 3 confirmed deaths so far and searches for missing or buried people will go on for days. I was on scene from 9p last night until 4 pm tonight. Came home to take a nap and getting ready to go back to look for people. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen. A similar line of severe weather is expected to hit again Tuesday. Below is a drone video of the unreal damage.
