It’s the reason I hate my birthday, I was at the funeral home, on emergency leave from the Navy (which she convinced me to join for her, different story) for the viewing, I still remember my brother handing me a birthday card, standing outside the funeral home, right before we went in, and the damn date is coming up.

Sorry my uncle who was like a dad passed on the 21 last year and this year my Pop has his surgery this year and I thought he was leaving on my bday the 17th. I have gotten to a point my bday is just another day and I'm not sure I will celebrate it anymore just thank God I am alive.

Keep celebrating your birthday, it’s a way to celebrate being alive and who you are, and letting the people that care about you, show you that they appreciate you being here. We’ll celebrate with you. God has your dad, have faith, I know it’s hard but I do.

I hate it for his family, he is one of the ones that frequently goes to my local watering hole and part of our family. His name is Jimmy D. Just pray for him and his family, that’s what is needed now.

Thank you, bill. You’re one of the few on here that I listen to, and thank you for that. As far as laughs, that’s one of the things that make the Zone special.
