Needing prayers.

My son's MRI came back it's worst than we thought he didn't just pull his hamstring the hamstring pulled and brought some bone from his hip with it. He hurt it squating 80% his max cold and he said he screamed and it felt like he got shot then 2 days later he had to do sumo deadlift and that really hurt it he waited 8 weeks and still did upper body and ran then in a scrimmage he hit the guy to tackle him and was digging in with his feet and it felt like it did from day one so know he is out no running no lower body work for 6 to 8 weeks the doctor said this is common in kids at his age it's his growth plate. It's called Avulsion fracture his is at the hip. The doctor said he was lucky it didn't complete pull because then it's surgery and it would hurt him the rest of his life. We let the school therapist know and AD and his strength coach told him at school told him in strength class that I know you are injured but if you don't give me the doctors note you will have to do my work out! The dam school doctor has it but I gave it to his ass anyway. He was at 309 max and they made him start at 80% his max cold. He has worked out over 2 years and this guy just took over and know my son is injured.

Prayers for your boy for sure, man.
Geez, some school officials are real ****heads.

Sorry, Rocky, that completely sucks. 😡

Cold? That’s a big no no. I’m sorry for your son and for you watching him go through this. HS coaches have a tendency to push kids with little or no training.

Sorry man, we're praying for him

I missed what is going on here.
Joe’s on date night 👀, so he might be a while. My attempt at explanation:

A friend of his had a probable spider bite and waited maybe a LEETLE too long before getting it looked at. He wound up in hospital with (what looked like to me like) cellulitis, complete with streaks going up his arm. They sliced it open to drain in two spots and put him on abx. It’s apparently getting better, and although that I&D site in the pic looks creepy as hell, it looks (to me) like it’s granulating in and healing up. And from the background in the pic, it looks like he’s home now?

—oh, and seeing the syringe on the counter, it looks like they’ve got him flushing out the incision. Presumably not with Pepsi.

I thought it was joe’s hand since he’s felt the need in the past to share pictures of his mangled fingers where his work machines have won the battle.

Do you think the doctors will stitch up the cut on his hand?
Don’t know, hman, a lot of times they leave these things open to let them heal up from inside. There might already be enough granulating-in (healing) on the walls of the cut that they’d have to re-cut to get down to fresh bleeding tissue to make the two sides join up to heal. Eewww. Dunno tho. If he uses his hand a lot, meaning flexing and stretching, they might have to get creative. The human body is impressively resilient, especially when it gets a little help when needed.

You’re our proof of that!

It makes me mad but it really makes me feel bad for my son. He loves working out I mean he lives for it and now he can't. It's a mental thing with him and I just keep telling him he has to be strong and know he can get threw this and maybe have 3 games but focus on learning the plays and your Jr and Sr years are the important ones. And only if you love it and give it your all. I done told him he ain't going to quit during the season no matter what and he goes to practice and supports his teammates. He likes the game and he wants to play I also told him I want him to be happy and if he don't want to play and just work out I am fine as long as he is happy. He chooses his path he just ain't going to quit during the season if you start something finish it ang give your all and he is. This is just a minor setback that will make him stronger.

What she said, except I told him to use the Pepsi! Go back a page, I think, and look at the spoiler post I made. If you don't get freaked out over stuff.
