He has had diabetes for 45 years and just last year had a quadruple bypass surgery on his heart and they was worried that the surgery was going to cause this. He got his covid shots when it first came available to him so did my mom and my grandmother who is 97 and they take care of her she has dementia. On another note my grandmother's sister caught covid last year and beat it she had dementia also and she was 98 at the time she passed away with cancer a couple months ago but she kicked covids butt. That's the only one in my family that has got it we all have O+ blood and have heard that helps. Back to Dad his blood pressure has been out of control sometimes normal then high so they put him on medicine and it hurts his kidneys then his blood pressure drops to 70 over 40 and he has to stop taking his medicine and that has led to now.Yeah, that sounds right. āContinuous cycling PDā, meaning that in his case, itās just quietly doing its thing in the background while he sleeps. Itās a very impressive technology.
I apologize, I canāt remember: did this happen to your dad after something else, heart attack or Covid? Covid can do a number on the kidneys, although we always tend to think about the respiratory stuff.
Diabetes and hypertension are terrible on kidneys. I hope this does the trick for him!He has had diabetes for 45 years and just last year had a quadruple bypass surgery on his heart and they was worried that the surgery was going to cause this.
