I'm all for high expectations, but that is absurd. Tennessee was 1-7 in the league last year, and that's beyond unacceptable. But, even with major improvement, Tennessee still has a ton of catching up to do in order to overtake the rest of the East. It's not like the rest of the division is going to go on a major slide.

Like PKT said I was being sarcastic. But it's not unreasonable. I look at how we mirrored the situation at Michagan. Both big historic programs with rabid fanbases. Dooley and Rich Rod had the same difficulties trying to get their systems in order. Not given much time etc etc. Hoke and CBJ are similar. Hoke had a great first yr. With our schedule it won't be reasonable to expect a BCS bowl but it isn't unreasonable to expect an 8-9 win season this yr.

Unreasonable were people who didn't understand that Dooley needed more time. CBJ was handed a way better situation. If he truly is as good as many think, or at least hoping, then he should be able to preform ASAP.

We need coaching stability.

really??? Would have never guessed that to be important. I guess when I was trying to talk people down from the ledge this past season I wasn't thinking about stability at all...:blink:

If "pics don't lie", why are there no pics of the autographed jerseys actually for sale? You just jumpedto a conclusion that is not supported by fact. And even if you could prove they were sold, there is no evidence that any of the players benefited.

As for TR's ride, you will find very nice cars in the parking lot of any major college sports program.

Bama goes on probation (twice in 15 years) and retains the AD that WAS involved, now they are involved in a PED scandal. UT goes on probation (for "lighter" infractions than either of Bama's I might add) and the coach, Kiffin, and AD, Hammy, are no longer there. Both teams have been stained, but it seems UT has been more willing to do the time ...especially when Bama seems to think their latter infraction was committed by Fulmer! Nevermind there were other teams that filed complaints (5 others I believe) or that they were PAYING PLAYERS. Alabama and Auburn are the biggest rule breakers in the SEC over the last 20 years, of that there can be little doubt. So if any fans out there want to throw up "probation", its fitting that it should be a bammer, because they are the experts!
