Ha! That's what happened to me too! I was bragging at work about not getting sick.I was talking to a nurse in the ICU about not getting a flu shot (haven’t had one in 30 years) and never really get sick. Woke up yesterday with what you described. I’ll shut my big mouth from now on.
Wrong again ---- The recommendations are the same, and the CDC says that everybody over 6 months old should get the flu vaccine, which will protect you against type A and type B. Medications, such as Tamiflu, work against both strains as well, the CDC says. From Web MDThe current flu shot is for a type A virus. What's been going around is a type B virus.
