It amazes me how much you can hurt in a couple of seconds during a wreck. I had mine and broke my sternum, 2ribs, jaw, dislocated my shoulder, and busted up my "good knee". Wreck probably lasted 5 seconds.

It's also amazing how those same 5 seconds can do nothing to you in a wreck yet that person wants to claim like the above happened.

But then they were fun when the insurance company allowed us to hire a PI to video tape them

There was one case I was involved in we went to trial

High school girl was a cheerleader who said she could no longer do tumbling because of this accident she was in

What did we find on facebook one day......

A post about her doing tumbling

Then another of her at a cheer competition

Jury loved it

We played those tapes over and over

Girl got pissed

She claimed that was her first time doing it since the wreck, she was finally able to do it that one time

Sure.....but even so, you said you could no longer do it at all.

Jury awarded her original hospital bills

Nothing else

No extra doctor visits

That had to be a horrible impact for her to do that, and end up under the dash. But I assume she was doing 70mph at least, and someone pull out and you hit them, thankfully she didn't get killed.

That was definitely a hold up, but now things are coming together. My wife just started her new career on the 6th of this month after 2 years of school and a year of trying to find a job in her field. Doubling our income will get us into a bigger house, bigger vehicle for her, then there will be no hold ups. Hopefully within the next 2 years. Names already picked out.

Why didn't they fine her the extra court costs and general waste minutes of peoples lives they can't get back.
