Not anti-Butch. I'm not a big fan of the attrition of the 2014 class, though. Transfers happen everywhere, but I don't think it is good that it is disproportiately weighted towards the first year players that haven't even gotten a chance to have a full offseason of development yet.

Dead weight is dead weight...kids that have got no heart might as well not waste anymore of our time, and hit the road. It seems like kids waiting their turn, and earning their stripes is a thing of the past. When I lived in Bama, I never heard anyone complain about attrition. That was the attitude. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Make room for someone who will.

I'll wait and see on who actually transfers. There's a lot of doom and gloom right now and it's worth waiting even for "trusted" sources.

Work, work, work, but great. Good to see everybody around last night. I've been thinking that since there was a coaching search going on that it might draw us out of the woodwork. I was not disappointed.

Don't care about him getting let go. Or atleast I didnt. We are fixing to hire Debord,so I no longer trust Jones judgement. I feel again like I did when he was hired. Complete list of faith in this. Vandy got a better OC than us

As always, I suggest patience and wait and see who actually gets hired before scratching our heads.

Let's face it, CBJ is pretty good and holding a secret. And it's just as likely there is some unknown out there waiting for the announcement rather than DeBord being hired.

I would agree with that, but LWS is saying it is in fact DeBord. When LWS says it, you can pretty much take it to the bank.

C'mon guys..none of us wanted Butch or pretty much any of his coaches...they seem to be doin alright. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. One of these days when we are down on the goalline in a close game, and we can run a well executed short yardage package instead of being stuck in the spread. We might not think this was a bad idea.
