yep, Thur night thru Sun morning, and then 49ers-Lions in San Fran Sun evening. No big interest in that game except pulling against Stafford.

I've been on a board or two of theirs and those that came to Knox in '10 remember being treated very well so they will for sure return the favor.

I also lowered my spread from 50+ to around 40. haha.

Wow. Good for him. I'm sure there are just as many former tt players in the nfl as ut. What a dumb a$$. Should've tried to get back in at ut and kept his nose clean for a year then declared

Shame to see talent go like this. Great to see a disturbance in the locker room cleared out. I would have wished Da'Rick would have stayed, but that wasn't going to happen. He wants to play football this year then go to the draft. Now looking like a 5th-6th round pick

I didn't say he now has no shot. Just saying he would have been in much better shape had he dealt with the suspension, gotten back on the team, and finished his career at ut. You disagree?

He gets to play in one or two more games this way. If tech makes the playoffs again, that's even more potential games. He was looking for, at best (rumored), 10 regular season games this year at UT, with FAR better competition. He now gets to stand out for 90+% of his games as being the absolute best player at his position. IF he can make it through the season without another incident, I think he will be fine.

There are definitely more pros to this than many choose to believe.

He was never going to play for Tennessee again. He made the right decision. Hope he balls out for y'all this year.

Might have been his plan all along. Maybe he didn't want to share the spotlight with anyone else. He can be the tallest midget at Tech now , good luck.

You think Da'Rick was scared of others at UT? I'd like to hear your logic for thinking this. He screwed up, if your gonna call the game call it fair. To doubt his talent you are a complete and utter idiot. That said we will miss Da'Rick a lot this season. I'm glad that he has a chance to continue his dream. Really sucks it isn't at UT.
Here is a quick fact most of you idiots in the Holy I have never done anything wrong or made mistakes crowd have bit*hed and whined about Da'Rick for the last 2 years. 1 of which he led the SEC and was a 1st Team All SEC selection. Also he was our STAR player but was never better then Hunter?
If this isn't a huge loss why is everyone so ass hurt right now ? Some of you people piss me off. It wasn't your career that is in jeopardy and most of you aren't involved with the University other then buying tickets. Yet you trash this young man like he has completely disgraced YOUR beloved University. News Flash guys players don't give a crap about fans other then game day. It's common knowledge.

it is my BELOVED university... i have supported it since i was old enough to watch tv... no i cant be involved as far as working for the university but its what i live for and without the fans buying tickets they couldnt go on... i have made mistakes and i learn from them. his problem is he never learns... the reason alot of people are down on him is because it seems like we are always hearing about him causing a disturbance... and now with him leaving the week of our first game im not gonna be a big DR fan... im a VOL fan i support the VOLS not one player... i wish him the best i want to see everyone succeed in life but tired of wondering what he could of been... he made his choices and he has to live with them
