Suspen indef. Should b gone all year. I fear lee more than jefferson, more of a passer. Less of a runner, those type of quaterbacks seem to kill us.

A true shame, because now LSU no longer has a QB that looks like it's their first game of football in their life.

They've still got Jarrett Lee, though. Close enough.

Some people are just stupid. He would never make the NFL, but could have a college degree. Hope he doesn't end up in and out of the big house for the rest of his life. What a waste.

I am still not certain that he want be playing. Keep in mind that we don't face them until week 5 and by then there should be some fidelity with the charges and his involvement. If LSU believes early on that he is likely going to get off, look for papers for reinstatement to be filed ASAP. Just look at how long it took for them to suspend the two involved and that should tell you all that LSU and Miles is concerned with is winning at all cost. If not for the arrests, they would still be active and it is obvious that they were involved in the incident. Dooley would have suspended early on with the reports that were coming out. Hopefully Dooley can cause some change in the standards here in the SEC, to many of our schools in the spot light the past few years. Go Vols

I would prefer Jefferson to play over Lee. I hate to bring this up again but....remember what happened the last time the 2nd man in line for lsu stepped in and played against us? The most known is, of course, the 2001 SECCG...but also the 2007 SECCG when Perriloux filled in for Flynn.

All in all, I'm ready for some redemption against LSU... We owe them for several occasions. I hope we return the favor this year!!

Why would you not wear Tennessee gear?

Some of you guys are a bit silly about all this; money makes the world go round, and from that perspective it makes perfect sense. I don't like it much as a UT fan but as a listener I'll use my right to not listen and leave it at that. If they succeed then obviously there is a market for it.

But I think the station will last about as long as 106.7 The Fan. McFarland as their lead show in the morning is an awful choice. There's no way he has the skills or charisma to carry a show. When he was on 104.5, he would always talk WAY too much to the point where you could almost visualize Plaster and Willy telling him to shut up. Not to mention he seriously doesn't have a "radio" voice.

Living in New Orleans...here's what people are saying: LSU was 110 out of 120 in the passing game last year and still finished 11-2 and beat the piss out of T A&M. Now, you add a strictly pocket passer to that mix and folks down here think LSU's gonna be just fine. (Lee also stepped in last year to beat FLA in overtime with a nice corner endzone pass) Yes he had like 400K pick sixes his soph. year, but he's a senior and so we'll see. Personally, I would take Jefferson and his dumb self over Lee anyday. Hopefully he'll resort back to his old ways....only time will tell....Gotta say GO DUCKS come next Sat night!!

I hope he's scared s***less when he comes to Knoxville and our secondary has a field day with him!! V,B!!

Watching gameday preview and Herbstriet is talking about them like they could win the SEC.

What I see is they lost Mallet, lost Davis, lost 4 of their OL. Always finish close to last in rushing D. Wilson getting hype for what he did against auburn. Didnt several teams have 300 passing games against Auburn last year?

Anyway, can someone please explain the Arkansas hype to me and why they should be top 12? My belief is we beat them by 14 at Arkansas.
