VIDEO: Man Allegedly Sucker Punches 79-Year-Old in NYC

A suspect allegedly sucker punched a 79-year-old man with a cane in Brooklyn on Friday, according to video footage of the incident.

The footage showed the suspect arriving on a motorized scooter and leaving it on the side of the road. He approached the sidewalk where the victim was standing holding a cane near another person.

The man scanned the area, then apparently hit the victim in the head with his fist, according to the clip. The victim fell on the pavement and the suspect went back to the scooter and fled.

Just out of curiosity, what is the point of you posting this?
What is the point of Breitbart carrying this story and so many others just like it?
Why not post about every automobile accident?
These questions are mostly rhetorical because I think we all pretty much know the answers.

This was an accident?

Why not show it? Brooklyn also experimented with scaling back "defunding the police" in early 2021 to be a model for maybe the rest of the nation. Would you rather see people pushed in front of subways or shot in Times Square. This isn't new but deserves attention to those cities trying to frame how America is supposed to be.

Because it shows the pattern of what liberal policies in law enforcement and bail do to crime in these cities. And the patterns are always the same

Then why ask about posting every accident?
Because they seem equally pointless to post.
We know accidents happen, no need to see it repeatedly. That only leaves the false impression that accidents are far more likely than they really are.
We know there are scummy people who commit senseless violence, no need to see it repeatedly. That only leaves the false impression that senseless violence is far more prevalent than it actually is.

No one answered the question. Why do sources like Breitbart make it a point to report it as much as possible?
No one has answered because everyone already knows the answer. They have an agenda of portraying urban areas in the worst possible way. And why is that? Again, I would assume we all know.

lol......You guys shouldn't make it so easy.
I'm going to research "common traits and characteristics of the most gullible". I'll post results if I find anything.

Why are some people more gullible than others?.

System 1 thinking is fast, automatic, intuitive, uncritical and promotes accepting anecdotal and personal information as true. This was a useful and adaptive processing strategy in our ancestral environment of small, face-to-face groups, where trust was based on life-long relationships. However, this kind of thinking can be dangerous in the anonymous online world.

System 2 thinking is a much more recent human achievement; it is slow, analytical, rational and effortful, and leads to the thorough evaluation of incoming information.

While all humans use both intuitive and analytic thinking, system 2 thinking is the method of science, and is the best available antidote to gullibility. So, education tends to reduce gullibility and those who receive scientific training in critical, sceptical thinking also tend to be less gullible and less easily manipulated.

Some of you guys desperately need some work with system 2.

So what bothers you, the fact Breitbart posted it or the fact it was posted? Do we get to tip toe into what is acceptable based on the source? Or would it have been acceptable had Rachel Maddow did a segment on it to be deemed "non sheep". Out of sight out of mind is method of choice it seems by you.
What bothers me is that so many do not consider WHY Breitbart (and other right wing media) posts it.

It's like everyone on here who thought BLM protests were violent and destroying our cities, when the reality was that the vast majority were peaceful. You thought that because that is exactly what the right wing media wanted you to think. They also want you to think that urban areas are crime ridden cesspools. So that is what they are going to make you think. The PF makes their success so depressingly obvious.

So you've reached the point where mayhem in the streets has become commonplace in our major cities that it's no longer newsworthy? I don't think I want to live in the country that you're aspiring the US to become.

Under that topic of the "common traits & characteristics of the most gullible" did it have a picture of your face on that page of the most gullible sheep w/the information provided?
:) Asking for a friend, of course.

I had never heard of antifa when I said I had never heard of antifa. The right wing plants was a joke - maybe they should bring back blue font in the PF.
On the other hand, you guys were manipulated to believe that antifa was some big boogey man that was a threat to the nation.

The good thing is that loothers way of thinking is the vast minority and that the Constitution always prevails.

And this guy was more violent than any protester on January 6 but we still have to listen to the MSM ramble about that.
