A 14-year-old was stabbed to death at the 137th Street/City College subway station in Manhattan Saturday afternoon in a fight with another teen, according to police.

The teens started brawling on the northbound 1 train platform about 3 p.m. and one pulled out a knife, sources said.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach and taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, sources said.

The victim knew his attacker, who fled at the station, police said. The assailant was described as 18 or 19 years old with an Afro and wearing an orange shirt and black pants.

Frankie Centeno was released without bail in March and accused of having a loaded, .45-caliber pistol stuck in his waistband.
An ex-con who vanished after being released without bail on gun charges by a soft-on-crime judge was captured by federal agents in Puerto Rico, a source said Wednesday.

Frankie Centeno, who allegedly ignored an order to get fitted with an ankle bracelet following his release, was nabbed on the Caribbean island on Tuesday night, the source said.

It’s unclear when he’ll be brought back to New York to face prosecution for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Centeno, who has four gun-possession convictions that date to 2003, was arrested early March 27 inside a Bronx restaurant and accused of having a loaded, .45 caliber pistol stuck in his waistband.

NYPD’s Blunt decision: No More Marijuana Testing For Police Officers

Pot testing for NYPD police officers has gone up in smoke.

The city has ordered the country’s largest police department to stop testing cops for marijuana use, officials said.

“The New York City Law Department has directed the NYPD to cease all random, scheduled and pre-employment testing for marijuana,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.

The suspects allegedly yelled that they 'hate white people' and 'the way they talk'

Police are looking for three suspects accused of beating a woman on public transport in what is being described as a racially-motivated attack.

New York City investigators say the three suspects, all women, got into an argument with a 57-year-old MTA bus passenger.

The interaction escalated, and the three suspects allegedly began hitting the unnamed victim over the head with an unidentified object.


The assailants reportedly made aggressive racial remarks to the victim, and said that they "hate white people" and "hate the way they talk."

A suspected Colombian drug trafficker will face charges in the US for allegedly shipping more than 20 pounds of heroin to New York City, authorities said Monday.

Junior Escobar Miranda was extradited to New York Friday after federal, state and Colombian law enforcement collected text messages and other evidence showing he trafficked the drugs between May and October 2017, the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor said in a statement.

Miranda allegedly took a hands-on approach to the trafficking, circumventing cartels so he could personally oversee the importation of the heroin, according to the statement.

He used human smugglers, or drug mules, to move the heroin from Colombia to the US after hiding it in suitcases, prosecutors alleged.

I just randomly picked a small town in TN in order to respond to someone who made a post about a recent crime in Atlanta.
Just wanted to make the point that there is crime everywhere and there has always been crime everywhere.
This rightwing attempt to portray cities and declining crime ridden cesspools is so pathetic that it would be laughable if not for the number of mindlessly gullible buying in.

I did find Dickson's numbers kind of funny given the fact it was a completely random selection.

I saw aother post yesterday where it was pointed out that the per capita homicide rates were twice as high in states that went Trump than in states that did not.
