No deterrence like putting illegals up in nice hotels, I'm guessing once the commercials play in Central America and the potential doctors and engineers hear about it, it will be katy bar the door here we come. Texas might need to buy some more busses.I loved the Milford. That bagel bar was awesome. Of course now it will be a taco bar I guess
I still have a 767 type rating. I figure I could fly 2-3 trips/day from DFW to JFK. I would do it for free. That's 600 'migrants'/day leaving Texas and going to NY. Illinois would be even closer. Maybe 4 trips/day.No deterrence like putting illegals up in nice hotels, I'm guessing once the commercials play in Central America and the potential doctors and engineers hear about it, it will be katy bar the door here we come. I guess karma really is a bitchManhattan man 'who smeared Feces on Face of Female subway passenger' will have facial scars forever after being scalded with boiling water in attack at Rikers Island by fellow inmate named 'Burns'
A career criminal accused of smearing his feces on the face of a subway commuter may be permanently disfigured after a fellow inmate threw boiling water into his face.
Frank Abrokwa, 37, is expected to 'have scars for the rest of his life' after a fellow Rikers Island detainee splashed him with boiling water at the Anna M. Kross Correctional Facility last week on the notorious Rikers Island, where he is being held on bail.
'You can wash s–t off your face and remain with the mental scars. When it comes to hot water, you will have physical and mental scars for the rest of your life,' the source said.
Abrokwa was seemingly caught on video rubbing his own excrement on a woman after defecating into a bag at the East 241st Street station in The Bronx on February 21.
A defiant Frank Abrokwa, 37, is pictured showing a rude hand gesture as he is led into Manhattan Criminal Court for violating the conditions of his release

A city principal convicted of car insurance fraud kept her employment with the Department of Education – and even got a fat raise – despite what school investigators called her “pattern of dishonesty.”
The DOE gave Oneatha Swinton, the former acting principal of Port Richmond High school in Staten Island, a sweetheart deal to stay on despite the criminal rap along with findings that she improperly funneled $100,000 in school funds to a vendor, and “failed to safeguard” 600 DOE computers, printers and laptops which vanished under her watch.
Instead of terminating Swinton, 43, as recommended by the Special Commissioner of Investigation for city schools, the DOE gave her an unspecified place in its Office of Safety and Youth Development with a $187,000 salary plus health and pension benefits — $25,000 more than she made when arrested in 2018 for insurance fraud. Officials refused to give a title or description of her new gig.

ANOTHER migrant bus arrives in NYC from Texas with 89 people on board - including five children: Father travels for a MONTH to get to Texas before boarding bus to New York - hopes to bring over his two children as Passengers Test Positive For COVID
A father traveled for over a month from Venezuela to Texas before boarding the bus to New York today with 89 other immigrants, including a family with a child as young as one.
He is one of several migrants on the bus today which arrived at Port Authority early on Friday morning as part of an ongoing political battle between New York Mayor Eric Adams and Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
‘I am happy to be here. I have two kids back in Venezuela and once I am sorted here I hope to bring them over.'
An ambulance was also sent to wait at Port Authority for the migrants as one passenger is 'very, very sick' and needs medical attention.
Those on the bus have been tested for COVID and there have been 'a number of positive tests,' says Manuel Castro, who works in the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs.
Some migrants on the bus were separated from their families before the trip and weren't aware they were headed to New York when they boarded the bus, including a man separated from his pregnant wife and children.

Over the weekend Abbott bused a 100-plus undocumented migrants from Texas to New York City so that they could use city support services

I love how the party of "Loves me some Jesus" packs destitute migrants up on buses and sends them to the godless New Yorkers, who then treat them humanely. I truly wonder which action (Texas vs. NYC) Jesus would approve of most?
So Jesus would say "eff the suffering of these people in front of me. I'm not dealing with that until we get better laws in place"?I believe Jesus would want a lawful society, not the lawlessness that you radicals promote.
You will find very few that want no immigration..just not this border rush and free handouts.
I'm glad they are getting to a place where they can be treated as humans. My question though is whether the "I loves me some Jesus" folks in Texas are acting very Christian. You know, the whole good Samaritan thing. But maybe that's no longer part of the Christianity taught in the south (prosperity gospel). Now it's more like this is how Jesus wants me to be:What’s wrong with sending them to where they are allegedly wanted?

$22 Glasses of Champagne, $20 'hand-stretched' Pizzas and Views of the NYC skyline: Inside the $700-A-Night Manhattan Hotel that'll be Home to Migrants Bussed from the Texas border - but they'll be made to use a SEPARATE entrance to tourists
Migrants arriving in New York City from the border will be housed temporarily in this luxury Manhattan hotel - the $700-a-night The Row in the tourist hotspot of Times Square, but they'll be assigned to ring-fenced floors and will be told to use a separate entrance to the tourists being charged top dollar to stay there.
Popular with people traveling for business and pleasure, The Row - described on travel review sites as 'merging NYC's grit with grandeur' - will become a hub for housing migrants on the taxpayers' dime in the coming weeks.
The four-star Row, on 8th Avenue between 44th and 45th streets, is in the heart of Manhattan's Broadway Theater District and boasts classic NYC views, a full fitness studio, a communal workspace equipped with Apple's $2,000 iMac desktops and a lounge where 'hand-stretched' pizzas are $20. Its bar menu boasts cocktails costing up to $19 each. A glass of champagne is $22. Room prices vary depending on the size - but the executive suite is $719 a night.
Sources told DailyMail.com that up to four floors of the 28-story building will be given over to New York City's Department of Homeless Services to use as temporary accommodation for families and individuals being bussed to 'liberal cities' from the borders by Texas and Arizona's fed-up governors.
It comes as migrant encounters at the border hit an all-time record. Last weekend, Customs and Border Protection's migrant encounter tracker for Fiscal Year 2022 surpassed the two million mark for the first time in United States history. The majority of the fourth quarter is yet to come.
Staff at the sleek hotel have been warned to brace themselves for the influx of people but appeared to be struggling to check in tourists in a timely manner when DailyMail.com visited.
