New York City

I'm glad they are getting to a place where they can be treated as humans. My question though is whether the "I loves me some Jesus" folks in Texas are acting very Christian. You know, the whole good Samaritan thing. But maybe that's no longer part of the Christianity taught in the south (prosperity gospel). Now it's more like this is how Jesus wants me to be:

So you're saying that people who oppose illegal aliens coming over aren't Christian? Talking about being ignorant and stupid.

You can oppose it as much as you want as a policy. That's fine. But the question is what are you going to do when you have destitute people staring you in the face. Folks in Texas say they loves em some Jesus. Would Jesus pack em on a bus and ship em off somewhere else?

NYC moving Migrants into famed Luxury Times Square Hotel

A luxury Manhattan hotel once touted as the “Lullabuy of Broadway” will soon be providing beddy-bye to hundreds of asylum-seeking migrants, The Post has learned.

Mayor Eric Adams plans to convert the Row NYC — formerly known as the Milford Plaza and located in pricey tourist-packed Times Square — into an intake center and shelter for as many as 600 migrant families amid the city’s spiraling homelessness crisis, three sources familiar with the matter said.

I am surprised the Catholic church in Mexico did not provide refuge first.

Lol, straw man argument. You're a Simpleton

This isn’t about being a “Good Samaritan”. This is about people leaving their country for the convenience of freeloading in another. Who cares if drug smugglers, rapist, murders, child molesters etc come here because you’re sure Jesus would be fine with a few people being victims in the name of being a “Good Samaritan”.

You've carried on long enough about what would Jesus do..... Just remember Jesus' dad is God who ordered his people to wipe out entire populations to make sure they didn't adopt their wicked ways.....

Moses said what's up.

why do you invoke Jesus in all of your political arguments as if you care what he would or wouldn't have done? It's tiring
It's a rhetorical device used to show your opponents are hypocrites. I do not myself have to believe the things I invoke if I'm simply invoking then to show that another person's statements are not consistent with the beliefs they consider most sacred.

Well your continuous use of your chosen "rhetorical device" is extremely offensive to me. Used sparingly, I could overlook, but I guarantee if I used offensive remarks at the rate you do, I'd be banned and probably have three letter agencies investigating me.
Is it permissible to pile on Buddhist, muslims, or atheists? Can we jab at race, sexual orientation or gender? Yes the mods will typically overlook an instance or two, but you've become ridiculous.
Jesus was perfect, with the wisdom of God, I am not and confessed so. God doesn't see big sins or small sins, just sins, so you really don't want to stir that nest.

Gang of seven thieves calmly walk out of Lululemon in NYC with $30K worth of goods while security does NOTHING - as high-end stores in SoHo and West Village come under siege from looters

New York City's high-end stores have become a target for looters as a gang of thieves stole $30,000 worth of clothing from upmarket sportwear brand Lululemon while a security guard stood by.

Seven thieves, believed to be aged from 30 to 50-years-old, entered the store on 14th Street and 9th Avenue with empty carts and laundry bags while the guard casually glanced over as they grabbed piles of clothing on August 16.

The brazen robbers, targeting the posh West Village neighborhood, rushed out of the store with their finds - without being apprehended by the security guard.

Store surveillance footage showed the thieves walk in and out the store around noon - looting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise as the seemingly unbothered guard, dressed in a white shirt and black tie, stood by.

Do you think that would be Jesus'response?

1 Nothing Jesus ever spoke of involved forcefully taking money by force from one to give to another. If it’s forced it’s not charity.

2.Where were you when Obama and JB initiated the practice of separating children from parents? In your defense you probably Didn’t know about it because MSNBC didn’t spoon feed it to you.
