New York to offer FREE Abortion Pills at City-Run health Clinics - as Mayor Eric Adams calls the city a 'beacon of leadership'

Abortion pills will now be available for free in New York City, Mayor Eric Adams announced Tuesday.

The Big Apple will start offering the pills at a city-run clinic in the Bronx Wednesday before making them available in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens by the end of the year.

Unlike hospitals already offering the pills, these clinics will not collect insurance or billing information.

True, been looking for antibiotics for my little one for days but all out. You would think that with all the predicted winter sickness coming someone would have stocked up. The medical profession and media need to burn. I'm not talking about in he@! but right now.

I think we need to institute laws where parents are held responsible for their juvenile’s actions.

NYC Shoplifting Has Never Been Worse, say weary bodega owners

Shoplifting at city bodegas “is the worst I’ve seen it in my life,’’ a 20-year store owner said Sunday — the day after The Post reported some shops are so desperate to curb criminals that they’ve put locks and chains on their detergent.

“We’re losing a lot of money, and we have to pay employees only to check, to sit by the door and watch — otherwise, we’re going to lose everything,” said Barbara Trinidad, who owns a bodega in Manhattan and another in The Bronx, while attending a press conference Sunday by a bodega-owners association decrying the crime.

Other owners are also moving heavy equipment to block aisles to prevent thieves from fleeing, putting up PlexiGlas even around candy and planning to lock up their ice cream, the organization said.

Wild Melee Erupts at NYC Migrant Shelter as residents throwing bottles are Stabbed

A wild weekend melee broke out at a Manhattan hotel being used as a migrant shelter, with three of its residents throwing bottles and then getting stabbed as payback, cops said Sunday.

Brothers Jordy Torres-Cabezas, 33, and Dilan Pachecho-Cabezas, 16, were tossing bottles with another man, Alejandro Pollo, 19, at the Stewart Hotel at West 31st Street and Seventh Avenue around 12:55 a.m. Saturday, police said.

It wasn’t clear who they were launching the bottles at — but one of the projectiles ended up striking 23-year-old Andiley Nazaire, police said.

Nazaire responded by stabbing the two brothers in the back with shards of the broken glass, cops said.

Four border crossers, bused from Texas to New York City, were arrested this month after allegedly stealing nearly $12,500 worth of merchandise from a Macy’s department store.

On Monday, the Nassau County Police Department in Long Island, New York announced the arrests of 19-year-old Wrallan Cabezas Meza, 30-year-old Jose Garcia Escobar, 21-year-old Miguel Angel Rojas, and 27-year-old Rafael Rojas for allegedly shoplifting at Macy’s.

All of the men are newly arrived border crossers who were bused from Texas to New York City as part of Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) plan to send migrant buses to sanctuary jurisdictions.

In total, nearly $12,500 worth of merchandise was recovered from the four border crossers. Escobar and Rafael Rojas were subsequently released from jail without bail. It is unclear if Meza and Angel Rojas remain in jail on bail.

One-legged Crook Pummeled NYC CVS workers, attacked and tried to Pee on Cops — and was Freed Without Bail

Urine for a slap on the wrist.

A crazed one-legged crook pummeled convenience store workers and cops in the face with a metal padlock before trying to pee on officers on an Upper East Side sidewalk — and was set free without bail by a judge the next day, authorities said Friday.

Eutano Bernard, 41, pulled out his privates and urinated into the air as cops wrestled him to the ground near the CVS on Lexington Avenue near East 87th Street, where he’d allegedly just attacked two workers and stollen four locks and six Red Bull drinks at around 12:50 p.m Wednesday.

The pissy perp allegedly whacked the workers in the face with the lock as they tried to stop him from leaving the store without paying for $65 in merchandise, prompting them to flag down two officers for help, according to a criminal complaint.

The City Council is set to rename a Harlem street after Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad — a figure civil rights activists consider a bigot who promoted black separatism.

According to a street-naming list, the corner of West 127th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard would become “The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad Way.”

Woke Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Releases female Tyre Nichols Protester, 25, Who Punched Two NYPD Cops during Times Square demonstration WITHOUT Bail just one day after arrest

A woman arrested for the assault of two police officers during protests in New York over the death of Tyre Nichols has been freed without bail, in a move signed off on by the city's famously soft-on-crime district attorney.

Candy Nicole, who has a prior arrest for grabbing a male partner's testicles during an argument, was released on her own recognizance Saturday following a brief appearance in New York County Criminal Court. Notably, DA Alvin Bragg’s office did not object to the decision.

New York Taxpayers Give $2.1 Billion to Illegal Immigrants with Large Sums Lining Pockets of Landlords

New York taxpayers spent $2.1 billion on a program to support illegal immigrants, with much of the money going to landlords, a recent report from the Urban Institute reveals.

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) explains that the report from the Urban Institute centered around the Excluded Workers Fund (EWF), which provided funds to illegal immigrants who had been excluded from unemployment insurance programs due to their illegal status. Much of the money ended up in the hands of landlords.

The EWF had two benefit levels: a one-time payment of $15,600, which CIS notes was received by 99 percent of beneficiaries, or $3,200 for the other beneficiaries. CIS also clarifies, “Those with the smaller amounts did not have to meet a different set of requirements; rather, they simply had less plausible applications.”
