I've seen him reported as a black guy and a white guy. In his picture on twitter, he resembles the guy who played "Monk".

This dude is posting on his twitter and Facebook video of him walking up and murdering the journalist. Now going off on why he killed them.

It's been reported that he, Vester, was replaced by the woman he killed. And, that her Fiance is the anchor of the news station.

Apparently the male journalist went to HR and that's why he was shot.

The female reporter said something he found racist at one point, so clearly he thought she needed to be murdered.

"Flanagan worked at WDBJ as a reporter for about a year using the on-air name, Bryce Williams, according to a former WDBJ employee.

Flanagan was fired from the station, though the reason was not made public, the ex-employee said."
