I don't care about Ferg. I don't care if he plays, I don't care if he doesn't. If he was good enough to be the starter, he'd be the starter. But he's not. And if Dobbs plays even a little this year and Ferg doesn't, Dobbs will be that much further ahead going into next season and Ferg will never see the field. I'm sorry if a lot of people are let down by the fact that he's not the next Murray, Tebow, McCarron, etc.., but I just don't see him being an impact player. I wish I was wrong and wish he was great and the obvious starter for the next 4 years, but it's really not looking that way, is it?
Are you? And if so, I'd love to know why.
I have no idea about Ferguson. All I know about the kid is what guys like Hubbs, Brice, Ainge, Swain, Treece, Matthews, Rucker and what they write and say about his skillset and how he's performed in practice and scrimmages. Not sure why a lot of guys constantly dog the kid and say he'll never amount to anything at UT.....he's never played at down in a college game.
As I said, watch a few interviews of McCarron, Murray, or Tebow and compare them to Ferg. Playing QB in college requires a lot more than a physical skill set. You have to be very smart. Ferg seems more like a Tyler Bray than a Tom Brady lol

I've seen Ferguson's interviews. Haven't noticed any subpar interview skills from the kid. Seems reasonably intelligent to me. But then I don't have the dislike for him that a lot of guys seem to have.
I don't dislike Ferg. I just don't think he'll be a good QB in the SEC. That's an opinion. It's my right to have that, and post it. Let me put it in words that everyone SHOULD be able to understand..
I do not think Ferg will ever start at Tennessee.

So you like Ferg because others do? Have YOU actually seen anything from him to give you a reason to believe in him? Because I haven't. I HAVE watched Worley beat #9 South Carolina, and come real close to beating UGA. So anyone putting Ferg ahead of Worley is an idiot.

Well, today is after the spring game, and as of today, Ferg is not the #2. It's Worley, then Dobbs. After that piss poor performance in the Orange and White game, Ferg is not ahead of those 2. It's just not happening and I'm not sure why some can't understand that.
I've heard of people talking out of their ass, but until now I've never seen somebody type out of his ass.
You don't know the depth chart at the moment any more than the rest of us do. You obviosuly have a bias against Ferguson that won't allow you to see the facts.
After Worley on the depth chart, we don't know who what the order is.
