New O-Line, same QBs, losing a lot on D. Spike's Dad has recruited well, and hopefully this class doesn't bolt, but we are have at least one more season after this of being rotten.

And if Jalen Hurd doesn't perform to the level of Trent Richardson or Marcus Lattimore next year many of the posters on here that are already labeling him as the savior will be saying he is overrated, lacks speed, lacks intelligence, gives up, yada yada yada.
Some of you guys continuously set yourselves up for disappointment with these ridiculous expectations you have for 18 year old freshmen. As always, it's going to take time and Rome wasn't built in a day. The last regime didn't even lay the foundation, so it is going to take a while longer. Get a dose of realism, level set your expectations and enjoy the good times when they come. Otherwise, many of you guys are going to just be miserable.
I understand your points, most freshman need time. A lot of people are disappointed on North this year, I think he's been really solid. Hurd is a different animal though, he's gonna preform very well.

What if he doesn't? Didn't everyone say the same about Bryce Brown? He may show flashes, but if you expect anything even half as good as Gurley and Marshal at UGA you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Freshmen are freshmen and statistics show that even the most blue chip prospects have to grow into playing at this level.
Historically, Butch's teams are better in year 2. Sometimes the difference is pretty significant.
