I think we're on the cusp of balkanization. States are openly defying the fedreal goverment. People pick and choose the laws they want to follow and we have an ever changing unwritten dogma that we're supposed to know and observe lest we be branded as a socially unacceptable person. That is not society and it's not the rule of law. Really what we have now is slightly filtered mob rule. It won't last much longer. Either we get back to the core principles on which this country was founded and agree to disagree about everything else or we split up.

I do agree with the crux of your statement, but the silent majority is prevalent in every state. It's the small percentage of civil discontent that is blown up on every "news" channel in the country that has us thinking we are on the brink of civil war. Not true. We haven't seen real civil disobedience since the Vietnam war. The situation we are in now is nowhere near that dire.

I had mine removed. My fatty liver f***ed it up. I changed my diet and four years later I don't even need toilet paper anymore.
