It's actually it's nickname. Do some research

that is not the stadiums nickname, because it doesn't have a nickname, just because you and a few of your friends called it that, doesn't make it true.

In all honesty... I've not once heard the stadium itself referred to as THE GENERAL. The house the general built ....plenty.

I gather that If I actually have to do research on a nickname, then the nickname isn't relevant.
