Keep seeing where Aggie fans are complaining about Neyland Stadium being run down, walkways are too narrow, seats are too close together and the concessions are not good enough. The way I see it, Neyland Stadium is a football stadium where men play football. We really just want a place where we can get as many Vols fans as possible in one place where they can make a lot of noise and watch football.

Maybe the Aggie fans should take their "yell leaders" and go watch a symphony or an opera somewhere. No wonder they have never won a championship of any significance in their existence.

I love going to the historic sports venues like Wrigley Field. It has lots of drawbacks compared to the newer facilities. I attended not so long ago when Wrigley first put lights up for night games there. There are seats where you're going to be expected to have Superman's xray vision as you're sitting behind a steel girder, restrooms obviously older vintage, things like that. Neyland has that look and flavor as well even though improvements have occurred through the years. History oozes out of that place and you can almost smell those old hard leather helmets. If fans more especially those from opposing teams cannot appreciate that %$#@ 'em.

It was mainly because of them deciding to wait til the last minute and all come it at once that clogged some passage ways up.

Danny White has the plan in progress to upgrade the entire stadium. I was able to sit in the lower T level. I can tell you that was an absolutely amazing experience. Those guys are correct, but the upgrade is already in the works! In Danny White I Trust!

I haven’t been over that side where the visitors sit in ages. Is it that bad?

The upper section where we put visiting fans is definitely among the most outdated, and it is in need of renovation. The main concourse in the lower bowl is perfectly acceptable for a large stadium
I will gladly take their tickets. Sure many others would too. Just for the simple fact they dont belong here anyway. The less the better imo.

I will say this - as it is a reflection of the university, it’s an embarrassment to have our guests sit in those sections. I wish those areas could be just like section S where I like to sit. But they aren’t- not yet anyway. And if you’ve never been in those seats, it’s eye opening. It’s exactly as bad as they describe- and that’s sad.

At the same time, the inner redneck in me wants to say: “to hell with ‘em, I hope they hate it so much they never come back.”

Tell those cow tippers our NEYLAND Stadium started construction in 1921 and later added dormitories, classrooms and skeletons! Lol

Neyland Stadium has character. I love it. I love the wall hanging latrine. I hate the chairbacks. My old workout place had a sign on the wall that said yell before flushing. Hot water makes you move quickly. I loved it. Nostalgia in old Neyland Stadium. I love it. I love real grass. Go Vols

They don’t belong in the SEC. We have the real football teams from the Big XII coming on. These guys aren’t really good at any sport. I guess the appeal is they spend money and watch like they’re a program worth something.

What corporate sponsor would you choose as the new name for Neyland? If we get a poll going, maybe we can lobby to get a better sponsor than a third rate grocery store.

We were in LL and got stuck on the upper concourse in a standstill crowd for a solid 45 mins at the end of the game. There are certainly areas of improvement.

When is that renovation supposed to take place? For anyone that may know, that is the worst part of the stadium as far as rest room and room in general.
