NFL Games Thread 2017 edition

He hadn’t finished making the catch yet when the ball came out.

People can argue about the merits of the rule, but under the rule that’s been in place for years now, that was clearly not a catch.

What about the "football move" rule? Lunging for the endzone is a football move.

It's not clear at all

I found this random video on YouTube lol this **** had me dying laughing

It was all part of him going to the ground as he caught it. He caught it falling down, so he had to keep it through that fall. As soon as I saw the replay I knew what the call would be

What happened to "if the ball breaks the plane it's a TD"? And "the ground can't cause a fumble"? Should have been a TD. He had control when the ball broke the plane.

He hadn’t caught it yet, by rule, so that doesn’t matter. It’s like catching it in the end zone and only getting one foot down; yeah you’ve broken the plane, but it’s not a catch and therefore not a touchdown.

You didn't address the rule i just cited. Making a football move makes it a catch

This is the rule. Football move doesn’t mean anything if he’s still going to the ground

Todd Gurley is the first player with 100 rush yards and 150 receiving yards in a game since Herschel Walker in 1986

The last QB drafted by the Chiefs to start and win a game for the Chiefs is Todd Blackledge. He was drafted in 1983 and won his last game for the Chiefs in 1987.

The Chiefs have drafted 13 QBs since Blackledge (including Patrick Mahomes) and none have won a game for KC.

That sounds like a Cleveland Browns stat.
