we were up 26-7 late in the fourth, Kelley washington had 256 yards in the air. UT put in their 2-3 stringers and LSU made a run same thing happened with Cal in 06. Sometimes scores don't really tell the tale. The game was never close. LSU didn't even score it's 18th point until around the 3 min mark and then was shutdown by our starters.
Also we lose without Kelley is not a valid argument. He is part of our team which LSU couldn't stop. Same as Teabow to Florida
LSU led at halftime. We didn't take the lead until near the end of the third. Things kind of fell apart from them after that, but it was close for a good while.
The Kelley comment was just an observation, not an argument. He gets a bad rap.
Anyway, tough to say the Gators were shaky early in the season looking at how well they played - not just against LSU. We pounded Syracuse early, but other than that, didn't really smash anyone until November. Florida was in demolition mode from day 1.
