Nico is not ready

Nico being mobile was a game changer. He threw a great fade for one TD. He needs to quit throwing bullets
on his downfield throws. He missed 2 or 3 deep sideline passes that were wide open. He will learn to
throw a softer pass I hope.

the whole offense has been inconsistent and everyone doing their job a little bit better is going to help him be more consistent. Its easy for a freshman to get screwheaded when he flubs a play then he makes a nice play but his receiver comes back with a flub of his own then the line disappears the next snap etc

The hope is that he'd be good enough to overcome all the ******** happening around him, but he's just not (but that's OK/normal 8 starts into his career).

The deep ball is a big problem. His touch on short throws is a little strong. OK, let's work on that. The idea that everything is going to be great right now is asking for too much.

I think people are severely underrating maybe the most important thing about him at this point in his career....he can read the field. Milroe can throw a nasty deep ball, but he lost that game for Bama yesterday because he can't see the fkn field.

he doesn't have that Josh Dobbs mentality to come in and magic the oline issues away with his legs. He wants to be a pocket passer. Right now he's somewhere between Joe and Hendon with his legs, closer to Joe than Hendon. As a passer he's a fair bit behind Joe when he was a 6th year senior. But those plays he made last night? Joe never made those plays. Only quarterbacks we've had in the last 20 years doing that have were HH and Dobbs and he's ahead of where dobbs was at as a passer when he was young. I'm very encouraged. It may take more time, maybe more than we have time left to make this a special season, but it will come.

Played well enough to win… that’s all I’m saying… for some reason, we’re taking for granted beating Florida and Bama back to back. Idc what it looks like or how it happens. Winning those two games anyhow you have to is fantastic… Is it hard for UT fans to just be happy for a minute?
I don't know if anyone is taking that for granted... if they are, they are idiots.

We have the same record as UGA you dolt. They’ve sleptwalked through plenty of games and got bit 3 weeks ago by a team we just beat.

If you expect perfect execution blowouts every damn week from a program that was ****ing dead 4 years ago that’s your problem. You should be encouraged that we didn’t play our best an essentially won a damn playoff game. Some of you who think the line graph of success is a straight line up have never actually been successful at anything in your lives. I’m so ****ing sick of reading the stupid **** like this people have to say. If it’s not a 50-0 blowout of the #1 team in the country then it’s not worthy to be celebrated.

WE WERE LOSING TO GEORGIA ST 5 YEARS AGO, WAKE UP DUDE
Wow. Where did I say in any of this I am not happy? You should take a Midol and go watch Titanic until your hormones subside.

Go watch this game again and take the emotion out of it. Freak made it possible for you to do so without all the annoying commercials. (Thank you Freak) And I just finished watching the second half again. Nico's throw to the EZ was a good pass, but it was also a fantastic catch. He overthrew Bru when he was wide open and hit Dylan in the shoelaces while also wide open. Nico has moments of brilliance, but he has a LONG way to go at this point. And I will hold judgement on whether or not he 'turned a corner' or 'grew up' until we see what he does in Athens. He WILL get there though.

And believe me son, I have watched my fair share of UT suck over the years, and maybe it is BVS talking, but I am still not completely convinced at this point.

Oh, and since you intimated that UGA has an easy schedule, who exactly have we beat?

Nico deserves plenty of blame for the down field passing issues. But the WRs aren't doing him any favors when he does put the ball in a good spot. Multiple dropped passes yesterday that were completely catchable in critical moments. We need everyone to step up their game. Not just Nico. But certainly, QB is where it starts.
This is a very good point. Do you think a healthy Squirrel White would have made that catch?

Our wideouts playing hurt is a mixed bag.
It hurts that we've got guys who are playing at less than full capacity, but it DOES help with morale, and when you've got a defense looking across the field at guys who are too busted up to reasonably be expected to get in there, it fires them the hell up, and you can tell

Hopefully, or he's Joe Milton IV. (no slam on Joe intended)

Again, my point in my criticism is he is doing EXACTLY some of the same things that some of you were ruthlessly trashing Joe Milton about last year.
