Nico steps on the "T"

1963. Never again. I agree with the sentiment. It’s horrifyingly painful when the President of the United States is assassinated. Still, todays student athletes have no living memories of November 22, 1963. There are better motivations for a locker room or football complex.

Edit: Corrected the date. Should have read it before posting. As for the reference to “63,” that was brought up in an earlier post.

Not sure what this is in response to, but I believe you're thinking of November 22, 1963. No, I didn't have to look it up.

November 10, 1963??? The day Gordie Howe broke the scoring record? What does that have to do with this or President Kennedy?

I get the quirky traditions ALL schools have, but am I the only one who thinks having a power T on the floor you're not supposed to step on, is pretty stupid lol.
The Atlanta Falcons have the same thing in their locker room. Most teams do.

It's silly and ridiculous. Surprised Heupel hasn't gotten rid of this stupidity yet.
It's not that big of a deal to not step on it. It's also not that big of a deal to do 10 push ups if you do. It's a tradition and to blatantly ignore it is a slap in the face to the university and the team.
