Nico steps on the "T"

The "Tradition," I guess, started here..............

"The seal: a round, presidential seal embedded into the walkways of UT’s campus. If you get the chance to see one on a busy school day, you may notice something strange; no student will ever set foot on the seal.
A superstition around UT reads that if any student happens to step on the seal, they will not graduate within four years. Although this is a scary notion for some, yet expected for some others — it is still hard to catch a glimpse of someone stepping on one. "

Some folks here seem jealous of the tradition because they know they'll never set foot in that room for anything but a courtesy tour.

As for Nico, 6'5" ~200lbs. Hooker is about 6'4" ~225. He's a freshman and they'll put 20lbs, at least, on the kid like you and I put a coat on.

Still a Gator evidently. Can’t even take the time to update his Twitter bio to get that trash off of it when he’s affiliated with us. What a slap in the face.
He's a mercenary in the recruiting industry, I bet.

He "facilitates things" so that a recruit can visit and whatnot. I'll bet he wasn't with Nico but with one of the others being shown around the locker room. I'm certain UT is not pleased he's videoing and clowning in the locker room.

Nico is going to be legit. I am not 100% sure if he will be ready in 2023 but I think the future is bright with him. One thing that also stands out in the video is that he seems to be personable and likeable to the other teammates which will go a long way.

I watched the interview with his coaches and him about coming to Tennessee and the guy sounds legit. All his high school teammates were praising his teamwork and leadership skills.

Another note, he also has a brother that is taking over at his high school as the starting QB as well and expressed interest in Tennessee :).

TF are you talking about. It's up there with the best in the conference/country.

That locker room…. In that video…. If you believe that is tops in the country, then cool.

I will tell you with 100% certainty… It is not.

UT facilities as a whole, are tops…. That locker room in that video….. is not tops sir. That’s what TF I’m talking about haha

1963. Never again. I agree with the sentiment. It’s horrifyingly painful when the President of the United States is assassinated. Still, todays student athletes have no living memories of November 10, 1963. There are better motivations for a locker room or football complex.
You got the year right, but it was November 22nd, not the 10th. Happened on my mother's birthday.

I will never understand why there's a huge power T on the FLOOR of the locker room if you're not supposed to step on it. But I greatly appreciate the humble attitude of our future QB stud coming in and respecting the team rules like that. Can't wait to see this kid ball out!

When they renovate the locker room hopefully they will address the T in the room. I wonder what they are going to do with those high dollar lockers when they get the new ones. Maybe give them to the baseball and basketball teams.

You are right. That locker room is weak compared to most top tier schools. Thank God they are renovating.

Speaking of renovations has anyone heard or seen how far along the renovations have come for the Anderson training center. I think they were supposed to start last year

I'd make a replaceable section near the entrance where you could lay the other team's logo. A reminder of who should have our focus for the week, and a chance to walk over it, dig your cleat a little bit, and come out of that locker room in a bad mood.
