Nike Adidas and Under Armour Tell Lavar Ball To Pound Sand

He's only 15 years old. Y'all don't understand how much kids improve from his age to 18 when they enter college. He's just growing into his body right now.

I was at an AAU game in 2005 that featured Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, and Ty Lawson. They were all about 16-17 years old except for Blake who was the youngest at 15 years old. And man did he look out place. He was a chubby kid back then that was more of an energy player. He didn't look like a guy who would become one of the best dunkers in NBA history at that time. Kevin Durant was also not close to what he is now. He was an akward uncoordinated tall kid with long arms that could shoot. The best player BY FAR at that age was Eric Gordon. He was basically the same height he is now and had similar skills.

I said all that to say that if you judged those kids back then you would have thought Eric Gordon would be the best player and you would say Blake Griffin has no NBA potential.

LaMelo at 15 years old is ahead of almost everyone his age. He'll improve massively over the next 2 years. And watch out cause he's still growing. Blake Griffin at the same age transformed big time from when he was 15 years old to 18 when he entered college.
So Lamelo is the next Eric Gordon...?

But you said you went to Duke, which is where Card Gym is located, where anybody who plays ball on campus plays pickup.. Literally less than 50 feet from Cameron Indoor Stadium. 🤔

The smoking gun!

If memory serves, I have a feeling this little inconsistency will be completely disregarded as if it never happened.

Went to Duke a while ago. I don't think I even remembered the name till you mentioned it now. Thought you were talking about somewhere at UT.

You mean you believed a word he said?

Wasn't trying to debunk the guy because honestly what he says on here has little or no effect on me, but he has stated many times that he went to Duke. I was seriously asking an honest question because I used to go and play there sometimes.

You can believe that if you want but I've been out of college for a while now. Completely forgot the names to half the places on campus. I don't even remember my freshmen dorm anymore.

I stayed drunk through 6 years of college and remember every dorm, apartment, and street I ever lived in or on and that's your excuse? Come on man, you're not that old. I'm sure I'm older than you.

Edit: That's the equivalent of me forgetting what the TRECS or Bubble was called.GTFO

I went to BYU 13 years ago and in an instant I can come up with the name of our pickup gym: the Smith Fieldhouse. I bet when I'm old and senile I will still recognize the name if someone asks me if I ever played there.

Nobody is buying this.

BYU pickup games... Did anyone take anything other than a 3? Haha.

Not a lot of dunkers, no....but basketball is huge in Mormon culture. There are some pretty good ballers in Utah. I remember playing with one guy in particular who had a scholly to Alabama in hoops but walked away after his mission. And of course, we'd play with football players and those dudes could mash. Dennis Pitta, for one.

And remember...this is from someone who bills himself (quite often in fact) as being particularly intelligent.

I don't care what you believe. I didn't remember that name. I don't remember the name of my freshmen dorm on east campus, or the name of my sophomore dorm on west campus, and not the street of my junior and senior apartments on central campus.

I got better stuff to do with my memory than names of buildings from college.

Then don't. I'm not here to convince you.

You didn't go to college, at least not Duke. You are a joke.
