Nike Adidas and Under Armour Tell Lavar Ball To Pound Sand

One of those third party stories "heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend" but apparently UCLA will miss Lonzo Ball's talent, but will certainly not miss the baggage that goes along with it to include family and friends. And they are not looking forward to the youngest Ball child to play there.

FWIW and all, but a fairly decent source.

Well the other son will be there next year so nothing will change.

I guess we'll see if they take him.

Actually they say the middle son isn't as bad ego wise. Still the same father though. However, less talented than his brothers.

I guess we'll see if they take him.

Apparently, the youngest is a better ball player than the two brothers. Scored 92 points in a high school game by himself. He committed to UCLA a couple of years ago even though he's only a sophomore in HS.

The youngest Ball brother can score but it depends on how much he grows over the next couple years. What makes Lonzo a great prospect is his size combined with his play making ability. I'm confident saying that the middle brother is by far the worst of the 3.

What is worth more?

$10M from your own business

$30M from Nike

If you answered #2. You don't understand equity value.

What's worth more, $30 million guaranteed from Nike

or...

hoping your new start up shoe company makes $10 million???

He does have a big advantage though, his son is about to get paid and you know he's gonna be his agent and manager and ask for the league max for rookies

This guy is rolling the dice BUT...he needs to focus on rappers and shoe guys. Kanye sells a shoe that goes for about $1K and you don't play hoops in it

I've always been hard on NY, but he had a pretty good year. He's not an all around player, but he scored very efficiently. TS% of .590 and he never turned the ball over.

Lavar Ball just coached his son's AAU team to a 52-point loss.

Folks need to understand LaMelo Ball (LaVar's youngest son) is only 15 years old. He's by far the best player on his AAU team that is NOT stacked and the team they played from Compton was filled with future D-1 players that are older. 17-18 year olds that are gonna be in college over the next 2 years.

LaMelo will enter college in 2019 as a 17 year old. He's super young and has been playing against older kids his whole life trying to hang with his brothers. He's got crazy potential. Lonzo is the best prospect right now because he's already 6'6"-6'7". LaMelo is only 6'3-6'4" right bow but LaVar has said LaMelo is taller than Lonzo at the same age and isn't done growing. Given his youth, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets to be 6'6"-6'7" like his older brother over the next couple of years.

If that happens then LaMelo will be a high NBA lottery pick like Lonzo and a future star. Having 2 sons that are NBA All-Stars is pretty unprecedented and would justify what LaVar has been saying. This is only the start. Yall are gonna be hating on this dude for the next 10-15 years cause his boys are dope.

I'm positive the dislike for Mr. Ball has absolutely nothing to do with his sons.

Why am I not surprised that you would not get that.......
