Nike Adidas and Under Armour Tell Lavar Ball To Pound Sand

Yeah guys, flame away. But, even most of u all, have to admit, D4H did work on his NFL draft preview, even if u all didn't agree with most of his predictions

I can do better work throwing darts at a board. Blindfolded

He did more work on that NFL Draft preview than he did on his degree from Duke.

Oh yeah, I saw all those posts. I'm hoping he smoked a lot of weed in college, like I did, and has some short-term memory lost. But, I still remember living on James Agee at the carriage house, behind the big house on the corner of Laurel and James Agee. Along with playing most of my basketball at the courts between the tennis courts, close to Stokely. We also, used to play at Alumni Gym. Sometimes on the main court, but most of the time, upstairs, where we had to jerk the doors open, even tho, they were locked. No matter, how much weed I smoked, I will never 4get that

Why play around with a smoke screen? They have the 2nd pick. I don't see what advantage they could gain. Boston isn't going to draft him out of spite and waste a #1 pick.

So again, what was the purpose of this pre-draft misinformation? Everybody pretty much knew he was a lock to go to the Lakers.

Like I said, they were trying to get something out of a Russell trade. Nobody bought the Lakers bluff and they basically used Russ to dump a salary.

Lakers were afraid someone would trade up to #1 overall ahead of them to select Lonzo Ball so they had to pretend like they really didn't want him.

Still not buying it. He only worked out for one team. Anybody else would have been rolling the dice to draft him.

All of the gamesmanship makes a little bit of sense if the Lakers were in a position of weakness. But it was clear from the moment the draft order was set that the Lakers were in position to get Ball and that Ball had all intents on only working out and playing for the Lakers. All of this nonsense about showing up out of shape and not being interested in Ball was something am intelligent person was not going to buy for one second.

The best way to handle that for the Lakers would have been to actually posture themselves as being in a potion of strength... and demand the highest price they could get for the 2nd pick if anyone wanted it. No one was going to trade up to the first pick and risk taking Lonzo only for him to sit out a year.

Tell it again

This whole deal has to sour people, even those who would be interested in his shoes.

I bet though that if he comes out as a goo player, this thing his father has going on will be big. Still, neither me nor anyone in my family will be buying into it!

Seems like Lonzo is doing pretty well in the summer league. Every time I turn on espn they are talking bout what shoe is he going to wear.

Create that generational wealth Lavar:D

How do you handle those moments of doubt, I'm sure they've popped up.
I don't have no moments of doubt.

Not for you, for your sons.
For the son. How is there doubt? There's no doubt. What has he done? Made it to the NBA. What has he been trying to do? From day one? Make it to the NBA. Your goal is accomplished. It's what you do from there. Let's say, 'Zo never plays again. Let's say three years go by of a guaranteed contract, or whatever you get, let's say a million or two million dollars. If you're a knucklehead you're going to be broke, but when you get a jump on like and you get an extra million or two, you don't know how to invest it, you just a dummy.

You don't have 'Zo buying 10 cars, going out to the club, making it rain, have three or four baby mamas'. The extra ****, you don't have that.

It seems like that is happening way less in the NBA now.
They looking at what's going on, it still happening, but it's low key.

Much less.
It's not out there like that. Because like I said, when you're reporting anything the negativity is way better than the positive. You can have a hell of a career. You know Tiger Woods was swinging, they couldn't wait ... They waited a lot of years to get that picture of him on DUI.

They build your ass up, so they can break you down. To say, we put you on a pedestal, we had you up high. But don't think you can just stay up there on your own. That's one of the things they can of, going against me, cause they can't catch me doing nothing wrong. I ain't that dude. I don't smoke, I don't drink, they ain't going to catch me at no clubs. They ain't going to catch me with four or five different women. The only thing you going to catch me doing is talking.

And I say the same thing. I have my own opinion, I can say what the hell I want, I don't answer to nobody.
