Nike Set to Unveil New Oregon Jerseys for BCS Title game

Well, its just like with Josh Selby, we lost him because of Adidas. Nowadays that's what a commitment comes to...how you will look in the uniform/what brand it is. I most certainly don't agree with it, but that's just how it is. Oregon does a great job of grabbing attention.

Selby went to Kansas. Which last time I checked was an Adidas school. Could have changed but I thought they were Adidas.

AU should just show up in plain white helmet..not even a stripe..White jersey with navy numbers...no stripes. White pants..no stripes..white shoes...and then kick ass.

Penn State? Other than the blue stripe on the PSU helmet.

right...a 2 color scheme is pretty damn boring, be it Navy and white or Orange and white...but I think it would be pretty cool if OU goes all out with an eye burning scheme and AU shows up boring as hell and kicks their @$$ all over the place.

The Duck's jerseys look better to me when they do less. I don't like the diamond plate or 'Oregon' on the pants or the wings on the jersey. I'll take the plain look all day over that stuff.

So he allows his players to wear Nike? How can they do this if they are a contracted Adidas school?

I'm not sure about that.

I'm pretty sure that Self can hook Selby up with stuff that would otherwise be inaccessible at pretty much every Adidas school.

Whoever thought that making the names the same color of the jersey was an idiot (they do this in basketball as well). It just looks tacky, you can only see it if the light hits it just right.

Like it or not, kids love the unis and Nike.

Yep... It's the PF Flyer syndrome... They make you run faster and jump higher...

No disrespect to Oregon, it's a great program, but if a uni has anything at all to do with a recruits decision then he just aint the sharpest tool in the shed...

I completely agree, it's not something that SHOULD be that important, but it is a factor in some recruits' decisions. They're cool, but I'd never, ever have uniforms be a major factor in determining where I would choose to play football.

AU is the home team, so I'm guessing they'll wear navy tops and white pants.
