So why are you concerned about a return on your investment when you've made zero investment? Seems you're making out very well by allowing others to do it while you just complainNone because it isn't a good one. It is a waste of hard earned money IMHO. I do wonder how many autographs Nico has sent to his benefactors though. I would hope he has enough class to at least do that much.
This whole thing is actually hilarious.. reminiscent of the Tom Brady inflate gate thingy. Fans falling all over themselves setting up a gofund me to pay his legal bills.

If a missing sixty dollars a year puts someone in a bad spot financially then they should not sign up.How’s it a pissing contest? Dude says there’s no excuse for people not to donate when they spend money on other frivolous things. Coffee aside, the issue with the collectives in my opinion is some people are going to have to decide between donating to them or the university/purchasing tickets because there’s only so much money to go around. I’ve not got into the Volunteer club to date due to having football and baseball tickets and feeling for my enjoyment my money is better spent in that way. I’ll admit I’m naive on the NIL collectives from the standpoint that I was under the assumption that the player deals are defacto endorsements from businesses/organizations who “expect an ROI” on their investment in said player or the players earning their own way via merchandise, events, etc. I don’t understand how the general public’s money given to a conglomerate winds up in the hands of the players nor why it should.
Received an email from Spyre that they currently have fewer than 2,000 members.
We have a HUGE AND PASSIONATE fanbase. This number is embarrassingly low.
Spyre is currently pushing for 10,000 members.
This will help every UT sport. Tennessee finally has great leadership in place. We can make Tennessee s great place for elite recruits again.
Memberships start as low as $5 a month.
If you're already a member, great! Spread the word.
If you are on the fence, now's the time! Will from Spyre is here to answer any questions.
If you hate NIL and want nothing to do with it, that's fine. I'm not here forcing you to donate.
I'm only asking everyone, if they can, to support UT athletics.
