LSU is sort of a home court warrior; very good at home but mediocre on the road. Tennessee's probably a better overall team right now, but it will be tough for them to get over the hump on the road against a pretty good team.Let's take a look at the LSU game closer: LSU stats below
Offense
Season Stats Rank
Points/G 65.7 230
Field Goal % 40.8 293

LSU is very beatable. They play more of a half court game and will not pressure Tennessee into force turnovers. Now,UT can not turn the over 21 times for sure. If we protect the basketball we will win this game.

I know a lot of us are pretty sure that we are getting into the NIT, most NIT bracketology sites have us on the bubble or out. Thoughts?
2012 NIT Bracketology - NIT Tournament Update
Realistic chance absolutely.
Win the last two and one in the tourney,Vols are in.
Quite frankly, the last 10 or 12 teams resumes will not be real strong. Tennessee just needs to keep winning. 68 teams are in the field now and trust me the NCAA has a hell of a job to fill the last few at large teams.
Take a look at the resumes of UAB,USC and yes final four team VCU.
Lol no. We could potentially be a really longshot bubble team if we made it to the finals along with beating Lsu and vandy. Rpi too low to only go 3-1 in our next 4 games.
The NIT means nothing. It is the only competition I know of designed to determine which also-ran is the 65th best team in the nation.
Why bother? Why spend a fortune in travel, room and board with the only hope is proving your team is 65th in the nation?
Why take student athletes away from their studies to waste their time playing other also-ran teams to decide which team can only beat another team that hadn't done anything respectable during the season?
And yes, I remember when the NIT meant something and when it was really the "Big Dance", but today it is what?
