Some players have a huge development from junior to senior year and see their stock rise. 17 and 18 year olds are still growing into their body. Sometimes it’s a case of striking out on bigger targets and you reach for lower but I would trust Garner’s judgement on DL

Did you get that hot tip from RG or are you simply applying BOT's common sense without a factual practice performance observation by our staff? Can you provide any FACTUAL basis for your cheapshot at a guy working on becoming a VFL before I apply some common sense analysis trend analysis on your plus minus numbers as a poster?

Can you apply any FACTUAL evidence that makes you believe Jenkins will be a contributor next year? You weren’t at practice so I guess RG told you that himself? Maybe you’re basing it off the 1 tackle he had against UConn?

Show me the post that did anything but call out posts taking shots without supporting data. Did you see me projecting greatness? On the other hand define for me the positive value of the post taking shots at a Vol. How was the program going to be aided by that post? I mean you do have VOL in your screenname like you want to align with the program. That post has the appearance of being supplied by a troll, whether it was or not. Does it really make a difference?

After Chris Brazzell's official visit wraps up on Tuesday, Head Coach Josh Heupel is expected to hit the road and head north to check on Kent State commitment Maraad Watson. He is expected to be joined by Rodney Garner for an in-home visit with the fast-rising defensive lineman. Syracuse has also entered the picture for Watson and started to make a push. Several other schools are reaching out behind the scenes as well.

If course this is a fall back option, we visited with dinner higher rated prospects but didn't get the feedback we wanted.

When that happens you try to find the guys who didn't go to camps for evaluation because their parents couldn't afford it or understand how the recruiting game is played. Maybe this kid never really thought he had much of a chance......

But he obviously stood out on tape that made its way to the right people. If our coaches think they can develop him and he has the fight then he can be successful here.

There are thousands of lowly ranked kids each cycle. Should we sign them all because of Jared Verse?

Or should we identify previously lower ranked kids who went to a smaller school and shined, like Jared Verse did?
