There are thousands of lowly ranked kids each cycle. Should we sign them all because of Jared Verse?

Or should we identify previously lower ranked kids who went to a smaller school and shined, like Jared Verse did?
I mean I agree with your last point.

This may be a case of seeing something they really like in his film from this year. Also could be this is the best of who’s left that they think they can get. If you want anyone taking on a “project” or lower ranked guy though it’s CRG.

Heupel and RG should sign whoever they feel is a baller.

These are the recruiting battles you hope to win if you want to compete with the big boys of college football.
I don’t think this is a battle to compete with the big boys. I would compare it to asking out an ugly chick. If she say no, what is that saying about you?

It’s time for people to understand that no football staff asks what the kid is rated on 247 before recruiting him 😂😂
Yeah I am sure that’s why this guy has just all of a sudden picked up offers from OSU, UGA, Bama, LSU, Texas, FSU, Michigan, USC, OU, TAMU, Clemson and other powerhouses this late in the year. Oh wait, he didn’t.

I like posters like you who say stuff like this. It’s like you don’t want TN to have the best players. I don’t get it. I bet you are also one of those that believe any recruit this staff offers is just automatically worth it because they think so. Even though, just like every other staff in the country, they miss on their evals.

WOW, hard to believe you include the use of common sense in analyzing anything related to UT recruiting. It obviously finishes way behind meeting arrogant agenda pushing objectives in your offerings. The frequency of your repackaging of themes is a real giveaway. Too many on here suffer from the if you say it enough it must be true syndrome. It might be prudent to see how high these players decisions are on the OMG meter as EVIDENCED by staff, collective and directed peer recruiting follow-up efforts before casting stones. Not all MISSES are created equal.
You offer such great retorts. I definitely value your opinions 😂😂😂

Maraad Watson’s in-home visit with Josh Heupel and Rodney Garner went very well this evening. He will no longer visit Nebraska on an OV this weekend and will be in Knoxville instead. He will likely sign during the early period. This thing is moving fast for him, and as I said earlier today, there are other schools reaching out that he hasn’t mentioned publicly, because he knows he’s not going to have time to take a serious look at them. Syracuse new staff is leaning on him to stay closer to home. I think that is what the decision will ultimately come down to for him.

SO you don't think RG has good evaluation skills? I will go with him, WHATEVER his decision on this kid is.
