Never want to see a player hurt, but if this forces Barnes into a smaller lineup- this may be a better team down the stretch. That’s what the stats say anyways.
This. ON is our best post when it comes to small ball. More so than Fulky, we need one of Aidoo or BHH to grow up quickly.Yeah, but ON can play small-ball 5. Plavsic not so much. I never want to see anyone get hurt, but if we were going to lose a post player to injury we probably just lost our most valuable post-piece.
Fulkerson is going to have to nut up and play like he did against Arizona more consistently. We need him.
I've never seen one human being on the floor as much as Fulky ..im talking falling down ...you walk by him he falls .... and he has no strength in his hands and arms ... he has regressed so much .. sad ..I think covid really has affected him in the worst way.......BHH and Aidoo need to step up FASTThis. We have to find a way to get Fulky producing in some manner. Part of it is confidence because he’s not where he used to be. As of now, we have no true post player that can produce in a certain capacity so we need to find ways to get production as a committee to help our guards out a little bit.I like that. But, I also wish that if Rick wants to go small, he just go small. I’d like to see Fulky start at the 5.
Sorry, if you think this is a better team without ON, I just do not get the logic. I have said since day 1 he was the key to this team making a run - he has been playing so well the last few games when we have turned a corner. Man, this stinks - get well soon !!!
I wasn’t trying to say the team was better without him, just that a guard driven lineup has proven to be our most effective lineup (statistically) all season, and that if the injury to one of the bigs forces Barnes into playing smaller, we may accidentally win some games we wouldn’t have otherwise. We all know he likes the playing the bigs, it’s who he is, and he’s been reluctant to go smaller.
