That's what I'm getting at. It's not like he didn't deserve to win a Heisman. It's just that two very deserving people competed against each other. But it's not in the same ballpark as Hornung beating out everyone his year...much bigger travesty

He is a great corner but hes no Deion Sanders. Manning is the best QB to ever play the game.

Other than the tricky average passing yards though. Peyton averages 4,000 thrown a year. Rodgers? 2,700 a year.

Minor statistical difference there. But Rodgers is clearly superior.

ETA: Rodgers does clearly make better commercials than Peyton. The State Farm with Hans and Franz is funny.

Rodgers over his career averages more than half a yard more per attempt than Manning over his career.

And Peyton still throws for over a thousand yards more per season than Rodgers.

Rodgers can have a higher ypa than Peyton. But it's still the end number that's relevant.

Rodgers won't touch Manning's cumulative stats. He had a few years of sitting behind Favre that'll pretty much rule those out. Rodgers' per-attempt statistics, though, are off the charts good.

Rodgers has averaged 3,931 yards per year that he's started. Thats with only 9 games started in 2013.

Rodgers only played in 7 games his first 3 years, attempting a total of 59 passes.

Or it's proof that Peyton just throws a whole lot more, but if they threw the same amount of passes, Rodgers would throw more. But I guess percentages can be tough sometimes.

That broke Tony Romo's record for most passing yards in a quarterback's first 100 starts.

Rodgers has already thrown 219 touchdown passes as a starter, the most in NFL history in a player's first 100 career starts.

And with just 54 interceptions entering tonight, Rodgers has a TD-Int ratio of 4.06, the best in league history through 100 starts and nearly twice as good as any other quarterback.
