no heisman winner talk

Rodgers has already thrown 219 touchdown passes as a starter, the most in NFL history in a player's first 100 career starts.

And with just 54 interceptions entering tonight, Rodgers has a TD-Int ratio of 4.06, the best in league history through 100 starts and nearly twice as good as any other quarterback.

He's still no Peyton.

Rodgers is scary good, basically. I think he's the poster child for sitting a couple years in the NFL before assuming the role as the starting QB. He and Steve Young.

Just glad he's on my team. At the time I was like TED WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHY ARE YOU DRAFTING HIM WE HAVE BRETT

I've since come to terms with it

Time will tell. We'll see after Rodgers goes 17 seasons.

(there won't ever be another Peyton Manning though)

Rodgers won't have the career numbers that Peyton has put up. He sat for 3 years and I'd be surprised to see him play until he's Peyton's age or beyond.

He also has a good chance to end up with more rings than Peyton.

As long as we get Seattle in Green Bay, I wouldn't be shocked if that happens this year (barring major injuries)

He also never had to deal with being a starting rookie qb on the league's worst team

Haha if a Tennessee guy won it, you'd be giddy

I would absolutely care less. If UT ever got one I would hope they would put it in an urinal in Neyland and ask fans for $10 donations for each shot. We could solve our financial reserve problem in just a couple of weeks.

Did either win a Heisman?

How about a who's the greatest QB Peyton or Aaron thread.

I figured this would get some arguments, but had no idea it would involve Peyton and Rodgers!

Nobody gives a hoot about the heisman anymore man. It has lost all credibility and means nothing. Because of the rookie pay scale there is no reason to even win it, other than maybe a nike commercial for the winner...that means nothing to me. Why would I care or watch anymore? I didn't even know they had done the whole for show yet.

On top of all that the voters don't even know what they are voting for anymore!

Is it best player in football?
Is it most valuable player?
s it the guy with the biggest stats?
Nobody knows...
