We have the best fans, most beautiful scenery, overall the 7th biggest non-soccer stadium in the world and the best coach.

Oregon has great practice facilities but they're stadium is like a cracker jack box, if they ever pi$$ Phil Knight off they'll drop quicker than an anchor in the ocean.

Their locker room seems very 'flashy'. Ours seems like you come in to put in work, not play video games and act like a Baywatch dude with all the waterfalls. I'll take the blue collar approach.

Oregon's facilities are just an overwhelmingly vulgar display of excess! Sickens me that a program who's never won a damn thing has facilities that nice. They don't deserve facilities that posh.

How Alabama's New Facility Compares to Oregon's New Football Performance Center | Bleacher Report

It looks like both of these new football facilities has us beat, at least in money spent. Personally I think something like a barber shop is pretty outlandish and over the top. (Unless UT has one that I haven't heard about, in which case that seems totally necessary for a football center). Also, 4 waterfalls?

How do you guys think we compare?

Bama's ish is pretty janky looking all around. Not surprising- noone's ever accused them of having style savvy.

I find all of this to be so ridiculous. What about facilities for other athletes and sports? I get that football is the cash cow, but how can this not be considered discriminatory? NFL facilities don't even come close to the types of facilities that Oregon, AL, or we have...it all seems so frivolous to me.

Oregon's looks like a posh resort in the mountains. Wouldn't mind taking a vacation there with the wife. I mean what is up with the tub? A little too intimate for taking a soak with your teamate. Didn't care for Bama's. Tennesse is much nicer from what I can tell.

The one thing that has concerned me, especially with the exceptional marketing that UT is doing in almost every other venue, is that the new facilities seem to get lost in the mix. It is almost like they are waiting for some other reason to publish it. Yes that 2 or more year old digital video is nice, but they really should have tons of images and video from the facility itself. I don't know who has the nicer facilities, but I know that Oregon is winning the PR battle. The good news is that UT and Oregon could not be farther apart geographically which means that, in general, we aren't really competing for the same recruits.

It's whatever, I look at it like this, would I rather have a 50 million dollar house or a 70 million?

Idc I'd be happy with a 500k house.

This is just meh to me, it's nice dont get me wrong, but waterfalls and juice bars would be the last thing on my mind, if I was a recruit. Just give me a track and weight room.

300 pounds is 300 pounds, no matter how pretty they want to make the gym.

I guess when you're paying players $ millions/yr to play for you they don't get as concerned about having a work out/practice facility that costs $10's of millions to construct and millions/yr to maintain. When you cannot pay your players with anything more than a scholarship and you are competing against 300 other programs for the highest quality talent possible that are all offering basically the same thing, it's an easy decision to invest $10's of millions in these highly upgraded, amenity packed facilities.

I believe that we need to continuously invest in our facilities for this reason. It positively differentiates us from most other programs out there, other than the AL's and OR's of the world. It also seems like a pretty effective way of exhibiting the program's and community's massive commitment to Vol football.

You mean NIKE....is winning the PR battle. They had an article on NFL.com about it, and I am thinking, WTF is a College team's facilities doing on the NFL's mainpage? They didn't do this when UT finished it's facilities all the outside articles I've read, say ours is 2nd to none.

The answer? NIKE....plain and simple. Guess who is the official uniform provider for the NFL, right now? Yep...NIKE. Dude is treating his college team like he's the owner of an NFL franchise

Oregon's facilities reek of estrogen.
Bama's is too tacky...except the 4 waterfalls and mural.
I like ours the best, and when we win over the donors, we will upgrade them even more.

So, are the extra amenities open to all students of the respective universities? If not, it seems the athletes are receiving a benefit and therefore Bama and Oregon are cheating again. Damn cheaters!

Do you really think UT's will be open to all the students?
