This board is a way for recruits to look at what is going on at the school and how the fans are. Bruce Pearl has made tennessee into a national power in basketball and he deserves our support. all the BS aside we need to move on now...we have a awsome team and if we go far this year and maybe even make it to the final 4...ALL this will be behind us with recruits...

stay away from posting rumors...im not telling you what to post or write but just think how it could effect our basketball team. we all want to win and remain a powerhouse in basketball so lets not start crap and rumors on here that could just be rivals trying to start rumors...

It would be great if it was this easy...:good!: HOWEVER, there are other agendas at work.

I wondered how long it would take to get around to this line of posting. When I first saw the title of this thread, I figured it was a diabtribe from a waitress at Rooster's.

The recruits don't have to look at this board. They can simply visit Pearl's house or be contacted by any member of the coaching staff by telephone more times than are allowed.

Honestly, do recruits read these threads? If I was a recruit, I would not base my decision on what a fan base is talking about. Making a decision on where I would go to school for the next 2,3,4 years should go much deeper than that. I am being honest when asking this question. I cant imagine being a recruit and loging on here to see what the fans are saying and letting that have any influence on my decision. Do players, coaches, AD's etc read here also?

Let' only talk about how great he is and how he would never cheat or lie. Let's give him our blind support, regardless of the upcoming NCAA sanctions. Let's talk about how he really is UT basketball and we have no program without him. Let's say his salary was reduced because he wanted the money returned to the university and it really had nothing to do with the NCAA investigation. Let's say he is the most ethical coach in the country and cares only about the program and his players. We can then expect that recruits all across the country will fight to come to his program, much as they do at UK. We will then have a #1 or #2 recruiting class every year. Let us never accept reality and live in the Bruce Pearl fantasy world forever.
