Well Tennessee basketball was a wasteland before Pearl and will likely go back to being a wasteland after him. Take your pick. I really don't care that he's a hypocrite. College basketball recruiting is the dirtiest recruiting there is. One or two guys make all the difference, unlike football where you need a couple of good classes to do anything.

No chance that we could ever have a program without Pearl. Even if we go on probation and are banned from the post-season, we still need to keep Pearl and we will still have a great program as long as he is there. It's not like we have ever been competitive in the SEC before. Historically, we are second to KY. Wait, how could that be? Pearl hasn't been here that long.
