No More Tweeting for Donny

Why would they be afraid of him? As of January 21st, he won't have any power left. Twitter just pulled the plug on the highest profile platform that Trump would have had. He can move his antics to Parler, but that is just a right-wing echo chamber which most media outlets ignore. It's attention from the media that he is looking for when he tweets.
If it was no threat they would not be trying to destroy it.
The number 1 current downloaded app and they’re scared to death of it.

His mods delete posts and ban users that don't meet the guidelines he's put forth. Literally no different than what these 'big tech' companies are doing.

Everyone knows the rules, whether it's twitter, Facebook or Volnation - if people don't like the rules, theyre free to go elsewhere.

Weird how the right suddenly wants private business to bend a knee to their feelz.
I don’t think the rules are the issues but when only one side gets banned for a very loose interpretation of the rules it’s more of an issue. If a person is banned because they say “I don’t trust the current voting methods” or “Trump is a good president” that’s an issue

Or the tweet about not attending the inauguration is erroneously cited as a tweet that incited violence but tweets calling for actual violence from politicians during the summer were acceptable

A private business should have the right to deny service to anyone in a free economy...... yes or no?
This was an existing customer. It’s not like Amazon denied Parler services from the start. Only now that it’s a hot button issue created by the cancel culture of Twitter, Facebook, etc did Amazon take this step.

I’d be interested to know if the contract had provisions for Amazon to dictate terms / rules to Parler about how they run their business.

That's because the change from 2018 to 2020 was not as great as the change from 2016 to 2018, so Democrats still control the House. Republicans played the "we are the party of law and order" angle effectively from May to November. However, that's not looking as strong since Wednesday. It's hard to tell what the Republican Party truly stands for right now... other than hypocrisy.
They’re all hypocrites BB. Surely you acknowledge that.

Oh look! There’s that double standard again..

Nope. This couldn’t be considered inciting violence, could it? Nah, I didn’t think so.
And this isn’t remotely the first time those idiots from the entertainment industry have talked about harming or assassinating the President. Let’s see what happens if James Woods says that about Biden.

Yes, that's what's been happening.

Just what we need. Another rightwing propaganda echo chamber.
There are already millions of lunatics brain dead enough to think the election was stolen.
There are evidently millions zombified and propagandized enough to think it's time for some type of civil war.

I tend to remember a lot of people talking about secession after Trump was elected in transitional blue states. Don't recall you saying a peep about it then.

Yeesh, tough day.

Nah, he left when all the Russian pee videos were removed.

I didn't say anything about secession just now.
I said civil war.
The talk of secession is humorous and stupid - then and now.
The talk of civil war is repulsive and dangerous - then and now.

But when the rules aren’t being applied evenly it should be a problem but it isn’t to those that like the action. It’s another example of the hypocrisy that permeates politics.
