No More Tweeting for Donny

It's because they are afraid of him.
Why would they be afraid of him? As of January 21st, he won't have any power left. Twitter just pulled the plug on the highest profile platform that Trump would have had. He can move his antics to Parler, but that is just a right-wing echo chamber which most media outlets ignore. It's attention from the media that he is looking for when he tweets.

Parler just got gutted by AWS. Amazon is no longer going to host them.

Not taking sides here, just reporting that Parler is going to have a hard time finding hosting, I'd bet.

He will be a thorn in their side.

A private business should have the right to deny service to anyone in a free economy...... yes or no?

Actions always have reactions. You can bet that in their rush to judgment, some people denying service haven't thought the position through. Remember those same private companies are very likely licensed to operate one way or another on public airways. For example the recent stir about the FCC having to reallocate bandwidth to accommodate 5g networks. You could see how a private telecom operating on public airwaves could become muddied with respect to a 1st Amendment consideration. For example the issue of a social network being denied service on Google and Apple phones.

Again, should a private business not be able to restrict service? That's a conservative value, that a business shouldn't have to air/host content it finds morally objectionable....... like gay content or whatever.

Where's the rub?

Lol, didn't R's control the house when Trump took the reins? And now they don't, so?...
You’re willfully ignoring the change from 2018 to 2020 but that’s not surprising. It doesn’t matter though. You got what you wanted so now we get to see how much Dems are going to screw things up or not. We already know they want peace, as long as you conform to their way of thinking. Forced unity always works well.

That's because the change from 2018 to 2020 was not as great as the change from 2016 to 2018, so Democrats still control the House. Republicans played the "we are the party of law and order" angle effectively from May to November. However, that's not looking as strong since Wednesday. It's hard to tell what the Republican Party truly stands for right now... other than hypocrisy.

Both parties stand for hypocrisy. At least the Republicans condemned the violence

Freak should start banning everyone he disagrees with.

His mods delete posts and ban users that don't meet the guidelines he's put forth. Literally no different than what these 'big tech' companies are doing.

Everyone knows the rules, whether it's twitter, Facebook or Volnation - if people don't like the rules, theyre free to go elsewhere.

Weird how the right suddenly wants private business to bend a knee to their feelz.

Savage or tyrannical?

What comes around goes around. This won’t end well for those banning and censoring their perceived political opposition.

Shoes is on the other foot, eh?

Should the baker be forced to make the gay wedding cake? Either private businesses can do business with who they want or they can't. Pick a lane.

That’s fine but don’t presume to call people “Communists” just because they don’t like Trump and aren’t far right wingnuts. There are plenty of moderates like me who aren’t happy right now with the extremist elements of both parties.
Moderate?..... you?......🤔.....😁😆😂 that’s not the word I’d use to describe you

As opposed to cheering it on and the second in command fundraising for bailouts. Yeah. Condemned

LOL, yeah - you guys have the high ground here. Spare us your haughty indignation, your crowd just tried to stage a coup by trashing the Capitol at the trumps request while his daughter called them "American Patriots."

"condemned"

I was talking to a guy that moved here from Vietnam within the last year. He was escaping you.
