Hmmm, I could understand telling Boyd that he isn't quite the pro-style QB but not so sure about Petty.

My guess is that he definitely has another QB in the bag. Not a great idea to go 2 years without a QB signee and that isn't a position that you want to rely on JUCOs for.

Why? Doesn't Petty play in a spread offense too. Before he went to that school, he played in a option offense.
