This is the 1st game of the season, Juju will be fine going forward. Even with the struggles Kiki and Juju got it done.

Yeah, I think USC should've won that by at least 10.

Cori Close is another mediocre coach with a stacked roster. Curious to see Janiah Barker fits in.

Ok, this is what I understand after listening to Geno and the other players pre-season. Strong is one of those players that can score from everywhere, so she is a valuable player that can be plugged in to almost any position. Guard, no, we have plenty of those, but as a forward when Jana is in the game she has the option of trolling the perimeter. She is actually a very good 3 point shooter, so she will at times play forward, wing, anywhere she can get open. She will at times be required to be in the paint and work in conjunction with Ice Brady. She can't be pigeonholed in one position, and that's why she was the #1 recruit. As I said before, it's been one game, and Geno will play these players wherever he thinks will help the team. He will be doing this for at least a month, so I expect she will be in and out with various other players, so depending on who she is on the floor with will determine where she is required to play.

Y'all want to know what I've looked forward to most for today? Seeing Zaay Green again! Curry got her a good one there. Green and the always-tough Sarah Ashlee Barker could be a special duo.

Which is, in part, why I said , "for what it's worth". I am aware that, at this point in the season, Massey's analytics rely on stats from the previous season. What I'm not sure about is whether he uses team stats or inputs individual player stats. My guess would be team stats.

I saw that and was only able to tune in for a few minutes when Lobo and Ruocco were saying she was dealing with an injury. I missed what the reason was and how long she might be out. Did you or anyone else catch it?

I also saw that Notre Dame is dealing with a ton of injuries already. They have Miles back but lots of other key pieces out for them. Mandy Westbeld is out for a while, Citron injured right now too, and key transfer Liza Karlen was injured in their exhibition win. Not sure the extent of the Karlen injury but she was in a boot and crutches after their exhibition. I know they have others out as well.

They didn’t give any sort of timeline. Just said she was out with a shoulder injury.
