And some claimed the SEC to be the best conference all season. The SEC is still the conference with maybe the most athletes but not a lot of great coaching in this league besides Dawn.

Baylor is lucky to be where they are now, but they're not a team to beat Uconn. Best teams to beat them are Stanford & Marryland.

SEC offenses suck. I watched a fair number of Pac12 games this year. The product is so much better. Love watching the shooters score like they do.

As a UConn fan, I'm sure that you're thrilled to have gotten all of those top ten players next year, so I'm not sure exactly who you're trying to fool here.

Not trying to fool anyone. I really don't understand what I posted that is offensive to you. Am I wrong to think that Justine is under rated and that she is going to be a gem of a player? I started frequently posting here after reading for a while and becoming upset with the volume of negativity towards KJH. If you care to look, (I'm sure you don't), you will see numerous posts from me that KJH would not be able to flip a switch and begin recruiting the top players for the LV's. It was my intention to focus on the fact that it was going to be a process of getting the top players to come here. I wanted some of the negativity to stop because fans don't realize how their attitudes infect the attitudes of the entire program. You will see other posts from me that each year Kellie's recruits have been coming from the better numbers. I have posted that she will need to land a couple of 20's before she gets top 10's. I have to believe there are recruits and parents of recruits who do read what is posted here and all the early complaints about KJH's first recruiting class was not helping. Think what you want of me but I was very careful when I chose my name for this post and I stand by it.

Texas A&M depended on Nixon a lot this season to close out games for them and she was only 1 for 6 last night. I remember when we played them at their place she hit all the big shots down the stretch that won them the game. Unless they again do really well in the portal or their seniors stay another season A&M will be headed down in the SEC. They need almost everyone to stay not much coming in the recruiting class.

At the end of the day, top talent matters.

ESPN doesn’t do a great job on ranking foreign players. Edwards was clearly a top 5 talent.

No, the SEC was not trash, but was overrated. I am of a generation that came before grade inflation, so for me a B means good, a B+ is very good, and an A is limited to excellent, outstanding performance. The SEC has quite a few good and very good teams, and only a single excellent crew.

Good to very good gets teams into the tournament, and is good for wins in the first round and second for some. With rare exceptions, only A teams win in the third round. Lots of people stroked their own egos all season by braying and bragging that theirs was the best or toughest conference. That was easier this year, with so few meaningful OOC games.

Who is left standing, by conference? Darth exaggerates, and PG1 is onto something real.

Indiana stayed healthy and we didn’t. Their chemistry is great, especially with their starting five. They did have one player leave the team, but never missed a beat.
