ONO being out for them is huge. She’s not the best player but she’s is the only functional center they have. Their offense depends on her screenings and their defense depends on her rebounds. Not having her is a big miss for them.

Looks like they are in as bad shape as Tennessee wrt back up centers. Piath and DeBerry nowhere to be found.

Almost definitely has fewer top 100 recruits than us, as those Big East schools rarely get any except for Depaul and Unconn.

I could have maybe understood this loss if Villanova was loaded with a bunch of upperclassmen and super seniors, but they literally have on graduate senior on the team. Most of the team is made up of freshmen and sophomores

I didn't watch but Villanova brought forwards to the game and UConn didn't. Nelson-Ododa was out, so they just had a bunch of guards out there, I think. Considering Villanova had 37 boards, and UConn 21, it looks like Villanova just had a more complete team and used their size to control the game. Connecticut pushed hard at the end but didn't figure it out soon enough.

ONO was missing and of course Paige is still out and Durachame was missing too. With that said Villanova played 8 and uconn played 6. Uconn had 4 HS All Americans on the floor and all night and an All Big 10 player. There is another All American big on the bench who didn't get in.

I have never really been on the boneyard. I feel like watching some Uconn fans heads exploding and playing the blame game. Maybe I'll peak in too... LOL
