Dawn didn't mention Fulwiley. Did say SC didn't adjust. Whose fault was that? Correctly says SC is still learning to play wo a dominant big. As always, she was very gracious.

Close reminded how vital their freshman fm Finland was. She really was impressive.

I loved what Close said at the end in response to UCLA being underrated or slept on. Said she told the players to put their phones away and stop letting others defiine them. Define yourself! Bravo! I'm so, so sick of "us against the world", esp fm elite programs. Very high schoolish.

Dawn has always struggled making in games adjustments. If plan A doesn’t work they don’t shift gears well. Fortunately for her usually plan a A is really solid.

She is actually good at in game adjustments. We have had to comeback in the second half many times with adjustments being made over the years. Dawn's best was when Coates went down, and they had to make an adjustment in 2017 on the twin towers plan to the finals. We were written off as a title contender after that happened. Dawn reset the lineup, and the new adjustment brought us our first title that year.

I remember that. I think that the SC offense became better due to the new adjustments which gave Aja room to operate.

LVs still just getting 3 votes. Fla St not getting that much love either. Beating them should help though, believe we'd start hearing "watch out for TN" talk if we win.

Watched Fla St/Fla the other night, Latson plays alot like JuJu. Lots of headlong to the basket stuff, very determined scorer. She's more efficient and has a better variety of moves so far than JuJu. Of course she hasn't played against Talysia Cooper, or really much of anyone yet. Absolutely can't wait for that matchup.
